Up until this one, the AFC hadn't won a Super Bowl for over a decade. All of those previous SB's during the late 80's and early 90's pretty much had been blowouts (except for a couple)so it was nice to see a competitive game for once. Memorable moments like "the helicopter", Ed Mcaffrey pancaking a Green Bay linebacker, Steve Atwater having a great all-around game and Terrel Davis' migraine. Entertaining game.

Outstanding game, perfectly matched teams. Than God the Broncos finally did it, or they might have gone down as the one team that always went to the Super Bowl and then choked at the big moment. This game single-handedly piqued my interest in football, and was the first game that found me hollering at the screen.

I won about a hundred bucks on this game. My co-workers were highly pissed that the rookie took their money...

My pick for GREATEST SUPER BOWL GAME EVER!!!! First off, Green Bay was like a 13 point favorite. They marched down the field on the opening kickoff and everyone thought, uh oh, another stinker. But Denver battles back and in the 4th quarter Denver's offensive line made mincemeat out of Reggie White, Gilbert Brown, Santana Dotson, and the rest of the vaunted Packers D-Line. Poor Reggie literally looked like he was going to die on the field. The Pack was so desparate, they actually let Terrel davis score the go-ahead TD, just so they could get the ball back. Green Bay had one last chance but Denver stopped them and the AFC won their first Super Bowl since 1984. John Elway's performance in this and SB XXIII validated him as the greatest QB ever.

Lets be honest, this game well forever be run of Sport Classics channels. Elways performace may never be forgotten for some time, and that famous photo of him being clocked by two packers defenders while going over the top is a fitting end to a more then legendary career. Elway's performance may be remembered for far longer then an even more amazing performer that night, Terrell Davis. Davis won the MVP, but Elway won the glory.

This was one of the best Super Bowls, particularly for the fact that Green Bay was favored by two touchdowns, previous Super Bowls had been blowouts, and nobody really thought the Broncos had a chance. The Packers scored a touchdown on their opening drive, and everyone thought it was over, and then the Broncos scored a touchdown on their opening drive...back and forth like that, with the additional drama of Terrell Davis out with a migraine headache for the second quarter. Denver's surprise victory and the defensive stand that assured Elway's first win makes this one of the best ever.

Dallas, Green Bay and San Francisco were the only Champs in recent memory. Denver was 0-4. To see all that change and Elway finally getting his ring was a big thrill. This is the one game that football fans probably remember the most in this generation!

The super bowl that had every bronco fan saying " please stay in it", and the " my god we won, there is mercy". One of the most competitive super bowls of all time. A totally surreal moment for all Elway/bronco fans.

I would have loved for Favre to get his second ring, but Elway was long overdue and it was a good game.

Elway jumping into the air to get a first down and his old body being hit twice while he was in the air was one of the great Super Bowl plays in my memory.

Not a fan of either team, but at least Favre's head shrunk a little on this day.
