I gave this two stars because it does lather well and a little goes a long way. However, I have sensitive skin and I just find this product to be drying. I wish it had more moisture in it. The scent is also rather masculine. All I can say is that it is cheap and it works, like most shaving creams targeted at men.

Good product. Nice gel right out of the can, though a little thin. Lathers into a nice creamy lather that gives a really smooth clean shave. Product comes in a variety of formulas that all seem to do as promised. Great scent also.

For comfort and a smooth shave, edge is the best I've tried.

I have been a user of Edge for many years. I believe it is the best shaving cream on the market. It doesn't seem to matter too much whether I use one with aloe, or menthol or lanolin or any of the other things you add to make it more interesting. I only have one small complaint. Instead of making more flavors, why don't you get one of your rocket scientists to figure out a way to keep the can from oozing an extra bit of gel (or foam) after one stops holding the button down. When I'm ready, on the next day, to shave again I always have to clean the can and the lid before I can squirt the new required amount into my hand, and apply it to my face. I love Edge -- don't stop making it. Just try to make it less messy. Thank you!

It is the best I have found for allowing a close shave without razor burn.

Have used more of this than any kind. I am brand loyal when it comes to this stuff. The foam kind is like trying to put cool whip on your face.

This is the best shaving cream period, pair this with a Mach 3 razor and you will have a great shave. I like the unscented version the best, it's so mild.

My all time favorite, particularly Edge Extra Protection (if you can find it). Actually the key to the better shave creams or gels is glycerine, according to many barbers I spoken with. Not many shave creams/gels contain glycerine, but Edge Extra Protection does, and it moisurizes my beard unlike anything else. The only thing better is getting a shave from a barber.

Top product. Very smooth shaving experience going on with this one.

Edge is unquestionably the best shave preparation out on the market to date. This product is highly concentrated, spreads evenly when being applied, and resists drying out prematurely like other brands. Because Edge doesn’t foam up excessively, all of the lather is diverted to the outer skin layer (base of the hair) where it counts most when trying to achieve a comfortable, frictionless shave. These flawless characteristics are topped with a great fragrance. Edge is usually cheaper than other inferior shave gels depending on the retailer. True quality!!

These gel shaving creams are having a delivery system breakdown. I wanted to report it to the company. The web site offered on the product www.insideedge.com is ok. But 3 out of 4 cans have become useless in poast couple months. Makes the stuff too expensive.

Great smell, makes a nice thick lather.

Far and away the best shaving cream on the market. It goes cool onto your face and spreads thickly and evenly everywhere you need to shave. Because it's in gel form, it just feels like it is creating a nice shaving surface, as opposed to regular shaving cream which goes on all lumpy, and may even fall off if you spread it on to thick. It also seems like you get more for the money as a little bit of gel will provide enough lather to get the job done.
