I was there for the Super Bowl this past weekend. Awesome! They had set up large-screen TVs and played the game through the considerable sound system. While it was not a typical nite, I agree that the place is very loud - not the spot for quiet conversation. But.... I hugely fun atmosphere and the beer is excellent: cold and large! I was there with 3 others and sat at the picnic-style table with 4 strangers and had a great time. My waitress was not blonde but otherwise had a body like the one pictured. The wienerschnitzel was excellent and was a very large platter. Highly recommended for drinks, laughs, nice food and a sociable time.

This is the place to be! The food is excellent and the music and beer are wonderful! If your not german you wish you were! Going back again next month. I have not seen the beer garden because I have gone in winter months but that is the purpose of my next trip! Lets POLKA!

The food and beer was excellent! I went there for the first time on oct. 28 for Octoberfest. Good entertainment too! This is a good place to take a group for fun.

Loud Restaurant, Polka is hard to love. I was with a big group and my food was acceptable (chicken schnitzel) so it was a good experience, but the only real reason I would return would be for the extremely large dark beer. I polished off two liters of the dark, and although 11 bucks a pop, very solid brew.

The Hofbrauhaus is a huge, gawdy, Las Vegas style reproduction of the beer hall in Germany of the same name. This is a pretty good place to go if you have a huge group of people, as the booths are enormous. There is also a giant beer garden in the back. The beer comes in massive 32 oz mugs, which is kind of fun, and the food is decent - predictably, lots of sausage and kraut. Not a great place to go if you want to talk, as the live polka (?) music is tough to compete with. Also, our waiter was surly and aggressive - and didn't look anything like the gal pictured here.
