I lost my oldest sister back in 1994 from multiple myeloma. That was hard to handle even though she was 17 years older than me and had moved out when I was very young. When both my parents died, almost four years apart to the day, at the time I was a bit relived since they both suffered from dementia but I miss them quite a bit. Even a simple thing like having a cup of coffee reminds me of the times I would stop by and talk with them after I was on my own.

It was devastating when I lost my brother when he was just 4 yrs. old, but you have to move on eventually. I always remember him for his smile and how strong he was just to live as long as he did, considering he should've died around 1 or 2 years old.

One of the saddest days of my life was when I lost my mother. She was a wonderful Christian lady, always shared what she had, and thought of others before herself. It's been a little over four years, getting easier as time goes by, but I still miss her greatly.I know I will see her again, someday -- on the other side.

This has happened more times than I care to think about. Death is a crises that will always change someones life.
