Facebook Connect

I think Facebook Connect is a game changer.

One of the largest annoyances on the web is having to fill out a profile any time you want to participate on a new site. Facebook Connect changes this - it lets you join / login to participating sites with one click, and pulls your Facebook profile photo for you (if you want it to).

And as someone who runs a social media web site, making it easier for people to sign up, find their friends, and share their content is a big deal.

There have been a lot of companies that have tried to create a universal login over the years, but Facebook, via Facebook Connect, has already gotten farther than most of them.
