Ugh. Serviceable. After a cramped American Airline flight (where one of the flight attendants kept knocking my shoulder with her ass every time she walked by) all I wanted to do was hail a cab and get to hotel. "Cab sign, cab sign -- it must be here somewhere....I'll go outside and find a cab near the baggage claim exit -- SURELY -- wtf???" no cabs. So I'm walking around outside for 10 minutes just trying to see if I can spy something *remotely* that looks like a cab. Nada -zilch-zippo. I finally see a wop (woman cop -- and I love all things Italian) and ask her if there any cabs. And she replies... "Go down to the end of the building and turn left..." Let me put that in comparative DFW terms: "Walk your ass from Terminal A over to Terminal D and then turn left...." That's all I'll say about that. Went back inside so I could cut through the building -- the ENTIRE Atlanta International Airport building -- to get to other side where there was... 2 cabs. And would you believe it--... Read more

ATL by far is Delta country. The train between concourses is a great way to get around. The concourses are very long and you must schedule in time for the walk. If it is your first time traveling through, you will find it confusing. Overall, ATL knows what they are doing.

Seems like I am the only person to fly out of Knoxville to not ever have to go through Atlanta. Its so big that seems like everyone I know that does go through there ends up in delays. Fog is a problem in Atlanta.

this airport basically sucks,I think it is efficient to a certain degree, and if you look at the appearance and attitude of the employees its really amazing one plane a day safely gets off the ground .

It is a big hummer, but aside from the usual Southern slooooooow attitude, it is neither here nor there.

Horrible Service brings everything down. If you are employed here, the Airport Employee Badge Office is probably the worst department you could ever come across. Rude, lazy, and very unpleasant!!!

Though the layout fo the airport is alright, having worked in the cargo area for a while and dealing with the people who work there, I have to say the employees really bring this place down. Talk about ghetto! Can't tell you how many times I've heard talk about shooting so and so or what drugs they sold from the workers there!

Hate it. Hope I never have to go there again. Brought a rental car back there and the first sign for rentals was just before you exit to turn. The place was way too crowded and congested and just hard to figure out for a newcomer. It's friggin' hot enough in ATL but to be frustrated in a screwy airport sucks. Long lines and the tram system sucks as well. Trams leave you in the middle of the terminal with people everywhere going all over the place. They also have a Smoking Room, where all the smoking addicts can cram themselves into to smoke. The worst thing you'll ever see.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH WORST AIRPORT IN ONE OF THE WORST CITIES, IN ONE OF THE WORST STATES IN AMERICA!!!!!! I was trapped in that hell hole of an airport from 9pm-1am because some idiot at the gate made us walk to the opposite end of the terminal to have something done to our boarding passes, which took for ever because we had to wait in a very long line! and then the dumbasses over there, took so long, that when we got back to the gate, the flight was way overbooked and they wouldnt let us on. WE HAD A FIVE MONTH OLD BABY WITH NO FORMULA WITH US AND THEY WOULDNT LET US ON!!! THE POOR KID SCRAME THE WHOLE TIME BECAUSE HE WAS STARVING AND THEY DIDNT CARE AT ALL!Georgians are some of the least curtiouse people on the planet and they deserve the horrible airport they have!

Aside from it being humongous it's actually okay. I've had to use it 4 times and never had a problem. It's just a lot of walking slowly because it's always crowded. Things move pretty fast though. I liked riding the subway underneath lol.

Makes travelling go from irritating to simply a complete disaster. What a useless consumption of space, time, and steel. I have never gone to or thry ATL without blowing about 1.5 hours for nothing. Bad idea in play. Hubs might work but not if they make you cover 50 miles in tracks.

The busiest passenger airport in the world is a good example for airports everywhere. They have such streamlined processes, and the massive lines move at such a rapid rate that it doesn't matter how long they are. The parallel terminals with the shuttle interconnection ensures easy expandability and minimal travel time between connections.

You know the old saying, "it doesnt matter whether you're going to heaven or hell, you have to switch in Atlanta." That saying is very true. Personally, I could care less for this airport. Cincy/N. KY is a better airport hub for Delta.

I would be willing to bet that everyone who has ever been on a plane has set foot in this airport at one time or another. I once thought every flight in the world had to pickup a connection here.
