Ha, ha. This is funny, yeah, let's let Hollywood run this country. Wait, they already do. In all seriousness, I am glad that Mr. Washington is as conservative as he is, I really do think it's great. That being said, he has no experience in any sort of leadership position, political or no. He doesn't even have a college degree and the college learning he does have is in journalism and acting. There are some things that have to be learned to be president like complex economic and governmental concepts. I think Washington is a good man, but he's not right for president.

Not a good choice. What's with celebrities nowadays conjuring up ideas in their heads about running for President? Honestly, they don't have what it takes to run the country anyway. The only celebrity capable of that would've been Ronald Reagan-- but even he was incapacitated for the most part and furthermore wasn't that great of President in the country's history. Arnold Schwarzzeneggar with the govenor spot; countless B-list, C-list, and even some A-list actors/actresses (i.e. Cruise) supporting political parties in the sense to swing gullible audiences into voting for that particular party; and now Washington, a potential PRESIDENT? C'mon. Something's wrong here, and it just can't happen. As a side note, he's not that good of an actor anyway.

No chance, don't be ridiculous. Glad to have him as a republican, though. I always thought he was bright, bright enough to keep such offensive political views (as viewed by his narrow-minded industry) to himself.

I don't know why people are rating him low. He is a good man and fairly moderate. Much better than Powell or Rice.

I agree with the others I didn't know he was Republican. I do like him and think he would probably be good, although I would need to know about his stand on the issues.

Denzel Washington is Republican? I don't think he has ever voiced political aspirations, but merely by his immense population I think he would garner a lot of votes in the primaries.
