I'm sure "Ray" has a lot to do with why Foxx has a good rating on this site, and I'm glad. He was unforgettable in that movie. I hope to see more good stuff from this guy.2

Sorry but the Ray Charles roll alone deserves 5 stars. Never was a bad actor, but the Ray Charles performance put him over the top. Jamie Foxx is great and we will see more great things from this talented and gifted actor.0

I think he is one of the greatest actors in this decade. Since seeing him in Any Given Sunday he's been rising. When he portrayed Ray Charles in Ray, it really gave me the impression that I was actually watching Ray Charles. He's a genius actor that/has played many roles. He can do comedy and drama...0

Foxx is definitly rising, and becoming an incredible actor, but I do not see one year of great roles establishing him one of the greats. I do agree that he deserved both nominations and the best actor win this year from the Academy.0

I had not paid a whole lot of attention to Jamie Foxx until this year when he was in two impressive roles. One the cab driver who was forced to drive an assasin around and of course RAy. He was dead on perfect in Ray. he sure deserved that Oscar! A talented actor. I would look forward to seeing more of his roles.1

Great looking and very talented. He started out as a average actor and comedian (because of the roles he was offered). But especially over the last few years he proved everyone what a great actor he is. There is no way to describe the way he played Ray Charles. It was magical.4
