Matthew Bellamy and MUSE are uncomparable to many bands. They continue to pass boundaries that most people never knew for it to be possible. Matthew Bellamy is born for this, and was blessed by God and to inspire millions of people like me. Honestly, they have touched not just my heart and mind but also my soul who was plain and simple. FO rthose who do not appreciate MUSE, i know it our tastes, but MUSE is compromised by the legendary artists like matt, who is a master pianist, guitarist , singer and lyricist. Can you imagine that?I could when i saw him play. people like matt comes around one in a billion. A band like MUSE comes only in a decade. they are LEGENDS. A pretentious dick who is just about scratching the line of 'average' at very best. Vocally, he is weak live, and I don't care how much he bigs himself up (or how impressive he thinks that "whenever I pick up a guitar my fingers automatically play Hendrix riffs" is), his guitar playing is very average. Having watched the opening to their latest "masterpiece" (or so all the teens tell me) of a live album, their 'hit single' Knights of Cydonia, I can express enormous disappointment in their live act, having been promised so much. Muse have no right whatsoever to call themselves a progressive rock band, and should go back to where they belong, i.e. playing a Radiohead tribute act at their local pub. N.B. It's sickening Billie Joe-style mindless teenage fanboyism like what we see below which made me hate Muse so much in the first place...

The most original guitarist of the 21st century and one of the most talented pianists in rock. Add his powerful vocals and lyrics this guy has everything.

Not always a fan of his voice. But he is an interesting great guitarist ...doesn't always do the obvious. You're always watching what he's doing, a sign of a performer who loves what he's doing.

I think that Matt Bellamy is one of those few greats who really enjoy what they do and it's so refreshing to hear something on the music scene that isn't same-same - that doesn't sound exactly like all the other bands out there. You get the impression that he really enjoy what he does. I went to a gig of Muse, and have to say it is the best of my life, and I will never forget it. I have never seen someone have that sort of effect on a crowd; and it was incredible; he plays the guitar so fast, and so well, and seems really passionate about it all. As for the rest of the band (you can't forget them, it wouldn't be Muse without them!!) they are also truly amazing; you have to be there to see it, honestly. Also, you really feel like you can relate to a lot of lyrics in their songs. Matt Bellamy is the most amazing musician, a prodigy in his own right. A raw ttalent that i don't think anyone can touch. He's insparation to aspiring artists, i reckon there is much to come in the future.

Personally, i think matt bellamy is one of the greater alternative/experimental rock band leaders, or w/e u want to call it. I know its not hard for some people but i can play the guitar pretty well and singing at the same time always seems to mess me up, plus he plays the piano, keyboard, and the guiar, and sings. and on top of that hes the lead singer for an awesome band. he deserves alot of credit...in my opinion.

I love him, i think he is so talented in every way, i think whoever is around him is incredibly lucky, and yet i wonder who would cacth his eye, if indeed he has a girlfriend, she is very lucky to have such a beautiful man... I bloody love Matthew Bellamy! He is really talented, and I think he is great.

I never really understood the people who were fanatic about a certain musician or band until I came across Muse and Matthew Bellamy. I truly admire and respect this guy. I'm going to buy Black Holes And Revelations as soon as it's out, the single grew on me after the initial shock. It's not traditional Muse, but I think it's great they make what they think is good music and not go by what some fans think they should be playing.

A good vocalist and writer but in terms of "all-time", I think not!

Matt is a genius no doubt about it, very talanted, he writes songs as if he's one of those Final Fantasy characters who live in a different world, yet very connected to our real world, but no one is perfect,i dont know what he's not perfect at yet :P, but guy as sensitive as him, dont think they have a happy life, they feel pain which normals dont, they feel things normals never feel, just ask me :P.

i cant belive how such a young man can achieve so much in his life from playing in pubs to being a musican who is the most talented person ive ever herd all i can say to Muse is well done and good luck in your career!!!!

A really pathetic performer.

..Bellamy is a God...I dont think anybody can even fathom how masteful his riffs and chords are. There are people who will go through an entire lifetime of voice training, learning guitar and piano and they would fall short of Matt's gloriuos talent...not to mention his lyrics.I mean..take stockholm syndrome for example.....can you even try to imagine what was goin through his head while writin this song.....awesome....Matt's legacy will live forever...!!!!
