First off, he MUST get a more broad appealing band. Roots is rotten...personal opinion.
Secondly, his lack of energy was putting me to sleep!
On the plus side, there is no plus side; however, one night is not a fairperiod for evaluating......except for "Roots"!!

He's funny, extremely nice, and hot.... he's just perfect !

At first I thought he was pretty funny. But after a while I felt like it was just his looks that moved him along. He appeared funny because those around him reacted to what he said and did. It was a little distracting after a while when he would hold back his laugh during a live skit. But overall he is a decent guy and definately a memorable part of the cast.

Fallon is awful, and he is SMUG as hell. I know a lot of people like that guy, usually from well-off backgrounds. He's the kind of twit who has friends who think he's hilarious, but is pretty flat outside of that circle. He's the kind of person who cuts down outsiders who ever approach him with his lame jokes. Obviously, his friends must be pretty powerful people, because he got jobs on SNL and making various movies. Even my mother remarked, without prompting upon seeing this guy on Leno, that he must have had friends get him in the business. I laughed like hell, it's just so obvious. That Pepsi ad makes me cringe too. Fallon is the only guy who thinks his lame comedy is hilarious. He reminds me of a dumb twelve-year old, to be honest with you. His humor is terribly unsophisticated and immature. Jim Carrey and Tom Green can get away with their brand of comedy because they are actually funny. Cronyism has just destroyed SNL. There's no way Fallon actually won out any auditions!

The only time I watched it was to watch Update when Jimmy returned to pick up Lorne(him and Tina's Son) I really miss his cute dead on impressions of seinfield, travolta, chris rock, sandler, and many others!!! I also love his scenes when he's with Will Farrel in the lover skits!!! (in the hott tub) without Jimmy the only one left to do impressions is Darrel Hammond and he can only do older guys... Without Jimmy Update is nothing special... I also miss his lovable song paradies like his Usher mothers day skit the week before he left... I also though find it sad that he never got to do his alien abduction scene on update... it was perfect! The coolest way to leave the show and I have to say though The Greese Skit w/ Tina was awesome though!!! I mean it was totally awesome!!!

Jimmy is the reason I watch SNL! I haven't even bothered watching the new season...because they basically don't have anyone to do impressions except Darell Hammond-and he can only do old guys. Even when he cracks up in sketches it makes it even funnier to watch! I also like when he smiles after his jokes on Update because he's just sooooo cute! His impressions are the best to hit SNL since Dana Carvey...his Sandler, Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Robin Williams, John Lennon, Mick Jagger-all perfect! He and Tina Fey brought Weekend Update back alive (after Colin Quinn ruined it) by having a funnier segment with a more youthful vibe. Jimmy is an extremely talented, sexy comedian who is headed for big things!I can wait to see him in Fever Pitch this year...Jimmy and Drew Barrymore have worked together already on SNL twice and hopefully their chemistry will carry onscreen.

Jimmy Fallon is a great comedian. Sure he cracked up during his lines, but now that he's done SNL, who's going to be the next big thing? Seth? Horatio? I doubt it. It will probably be Tina (who does do a superb job on Update, but DIDNT carry Fallon) or Mya. Im also betting that Jimmy has one of the biggest teenage girls fanbase out there. I mean, look at him; you can't help but grin. So, in October, or whenever Taxi does come to theatres, I will be paying 10 dollars to see if Jimmy can make it in the big leagues. And from what I saw on SNL, Jimmy will make the transition from TV to movies just fine.

Jimmy's funny, his impressions are spot on, he's musically talented, can act, and looks great. (Even his book is a riot, is there anything he can't do?) His legacy to SNL will be the as one half of the brilliant Fallon-Fey combo, Nick Burns, Boston Teens with Rachel, Jarret & The Leatherman with Horatio, Dave in the h'tub... and those incredible song parodies! Talented and memorable, Jimmy's brought a new generation of viewers to SNL and is headed for huge things.

Let's see, got his start by stealing Adam Sandler's shtick. That was probably his peak. Now he is probably the least professional member of the cast, giggling and flubbing his lines. He seems like he'd be a cool guy to have around, but you wouldn't pay your goofball buddy to show up at your parties, much less put him on television, so why should this tool be paid to sit there with a 90 dollar haircut and laugh at himself. Oh well, maybe he has some pictures of Lorne Michaels breaking into the local petting zoo in the middle of the night with a stungun and a jar of petroleum jelly, or something.

I personally think that Jimmy Fallon is doing a great job on Saturday Night Live considering that he was left with a tremendous load on his shoulders after Will Ferrel left the show last year. After he left it was basically up to him to keep the show together and I think that he has done a wonderful job with that. No one really has the right to judge him, considering that most people have never been in his shoes before. And if you don't think that he is funny, by all means, you go up there and do your thing.

Jimmy Fallon is a man of many talents. He can act, sing, and preform like a professional. After the departing of fellow castmember, Will Ferrell, Jimmy was left to support the fairly new, young and inexperienced cast. I think he's done an incredible job, and his CD is HALLAIROUS! Not to mention he is extremely HOT ^_^
