 | superspacegirl (0) 08/24/2004 | This is the best valued dimsum in all of San Francisco!! With locations on Broadway in Chinatown/ Financial Dist & Stockton in Chinatown, this is an all time favorite for me!! Of course one does not go to You's for the Ambience! It's a modest sized location where you point and choose what you want. Dimsum pieces are ususally 3 (hargow, suimai...) for $1.20. Everything tastes wonderfully delicious & fresh! The items taste just as good, if not better than expensive restaurants like Yank Sing! Here at You's, you receive a good variety of samplings. Mainly you receive the best of the basic dimsum components!! It's such a great price, with two convenient locations, that if you really love dimsum, you should check this place out!! :o) It's the only place I trust!! And it doesn't break the pocket book!! Cash only!!!

 | Galomorro (0) 10/06/2002 | TERRIBLE for the BROADWAY location in San Francisco's Chinatown. This is the second time they have chosen to totally ignore me, an innocent buyer of take-out dim-sum. Instead, the women behind the counter chose to wait on Asian customers who arrived AFTER I did. They ignored me and when I began to tap the counter, say things like "pork buns?" and "Hello??" to try to get them to notice me, they still did not but chattered away in Chinese, never meeting my eye, and making disagreeable faces as they continued to wait on Asian customers who arrived after I did. This is discrimination! I had the very same experience several years ago and complained on the Internet back then also. This time I was fortunate in that a gentleman, who was working behind the women, finally decided to take notice of me and my attempts to get noticed, and HE finally served me. Several years ago I had walked out in disgust because no one would wait on me. This location must get plenty of caucasians as well as Asians also, and I do not understand their reluctance to wait on people in TURN, as they arrive. They act like they are prejudiced against non-Asians. It certainly seems like this by their actions. But this location of You's is the ONLY location that has treated me like sh*it. Their other location, on STOCKTON St. in Chinatown, in contrast, has delightful, attentive, friendly waitpersons -- I have gone to this Stockton St. location numerous times, and could never find anything to complain about these nice folks. So what the heck is the matter with these nasty-acting women with the attitude problems at the Broadway location? Everyone should always shop the Stockton location, as here you will be treated fairly. Boycott the Broadway nasties...!
