My wife wears lots of jewelry and her favorite thing is a heavy gold necklace with intricately braided strands, which collects a lot of sweat and grime (we live in south Alabama). She swears by this thing and highly recommends it.

This machine works better if you put a drop or two of dish detergent, because it is designed to cut through grease and grime and to rinse off easily. If you just clean your jewelries with water, you have to do it 2-3 times before you can see them look sparkly. With detergent, just one cycle of 180 mins (the shortest), my eyes are blinded! The diamonds look even sparklier! :)

I purchased this cleaner about 3 months ago, I have used it twice and not it doesn't work at all anymore, No one seems to know what is wrong with it and Now I can't get any time of reimbursment for it. I was happy with it at first, it did a great job but not being able to use it after one time isn't setting right with me.

I had no idea this machine would actually clean antique silver that has tarnished for over 40 years, but it did so beautifully! I have thoroughly enjoyed revitalizing my collection of silver jewelry, which I had put away once it tarnished with the idea that I would take it to a jeweler one day. It's like receiving a windfall of jewelry! Some of the older pieces required hours of cleaning and I would set the machine for the 8 min. cycle and turn it on every time I entered my kitchen. Some pieces would have been impossible to clean by hand. This machine is fabulous!

I recommend this product, it cleans jewelry, coins etc very quickly with a drop or two of detergent added.
