Works almost as good as Tide. If Tide is 100% then I would say Era is 95%. It is a procter & gamble product so it is a good quality product. The original scent doesn't seem like it would be all that great when you just smell it out of the bottle. However it leaves your clothes with a nice light but noticable scent. To me Era is better than Gain and Cheer and it's usually $3.00 cheaper than Tide, $2.00 cheaper than Cheer and $1.00 cheaper than Gain.Tide and Era are my 2 favorites but it's hard to find Era at stores now.Only one store in my town carries it and I can only buy it when I'm in that part of town.I would definatley recommend this product if you can find it.

This detergent is decent.  It cleans well, but doesn't completely prevent fading that I am aware of, although is is safer than Wisk, All and Arm & Hammer at helping clothes last longer.  Probably good to keep on hand for pretreating as the purchase price is less than that of Tide or Cheer.I would recommend this to those who really can not spare to buy Tide or Cheer.  It is inexpensive enough  to give it a try.  I would repurchase this if the circumstances were right.  I guess I could say this would be number 3 on my list of detergents I would actually use in the long run.

I have permanently switched to Era after using it consistently for the past several months. I love the smell and cleansing power plus it's priced very well.

This is one of my favorite detergents. I can buy the big 300oz container at one of our local home improvement centers for $9. I used originally when cleaning my bed sheets after a camping trip at my parents house and it left the blankets smelling clean and refreshing. I have yet to try it on clothes. Only thing I am hesitant on, is that it is made by P&G; whose products I have had problems with in the past.

My favorite laundry detergent. Works so well, cheaper price and smells so good. I buy the biggest bottle at the wholesale club.

If you can't find ERA at your store, it's because I have a huge stock pile. ERA is the only laundry soap I use, so when it's on sale I buy all I can. What I like best about ERA - yeah it gets the stains out great and this is very important, but the scent is not flowery or stinky, to me that is also important. Rock on ERA you have a great product, now don't try and fix something that isn't broke.

Best laundry soap I've ever used. Great for pretreating stains. BUT Kroger doesn't carry it anymore! K-Mart doesn't carry it anymore! Trying Target tomorrow. Thanks, Becky

I have used Era liquid for years in addition to power soap like tide. It is great for set-in stains from food. Tide is better for dirt stains. Era also brightens the color of clothes. I do the laundry, but my wife is an RN and I have to get the stains out...lol. It works. A house Hubby.

Era is excellent laundry detergent. I've used it for years and have had consistently good results without fear of any kind of allergic reaction that I’ve experienced with other detergents and fabric softeners. And here’s a tip – for those of you who have a Meijer store nearby - be on the lookout for their two for $7.00 deals – that’s two 3+ quarts (2.95 liters). This is a wonderful deal that happens about two or three times a year - at which time I stock up like a crazed pack rat. By the way – I do not work for Meijer or hold stock in the company - just wanted to share this great deal. And, to be fair, they also have some great deals/sales on other detergents. I just like Era so much, I’ve never checked those out.
