Great QB with a keen instinct for the game. Just wish the same thing could be said of his love life. This boy really needs a shirt reading "I'm with stupid" and an arrow pointing to his unit.

Update: His injury can't be that bad. All he needs is a wheelchair, two dozen OC, and for Matt "Slowhand" Light to retire to a tropical island and I think we'll have a shot at the title. Sure as fuck don't with Matt Bledsoe...

Deltha O'Neil played a great game though...for the friggin' Bolts. Coming from the Bengals, I expected more from him though. Like 4 40+ yard bombs completed, instead of just 2. Well, there's always next week, just hope it ain't here...

Fattens stats with screen passes, bitches and whines to refs if he is even touched, mobile as a beetle, and a product of a great surrounding cast. The'experts' say Dan Marino is not the greatest qb because he never won a SB but how many would he have won with these Pats. It is a TEAM sport. Brady=The right place at the right time.

The greatest thing ever was seeing Tom Brady hit the grass like 20 times in the last Super Bowl. It proved that frankly, anybody could play quarterback for the Patriots and do pretty good, it's not about his arm, it's about how much time he usually gets to throw. The Giants sacked him like 7 times that game and made him eat dirt like 10 more times. By the second half Brady was visibly shaken and scared. Goes to show that like I said, anyone with the amount of time Brady usually gets to throw, could play quarterback in that offense, Brady is nothing too special.

tom brady is way over rated. if anyone has noticed, but when they play, the other teams defense can't get to him at all. their offensive line is the greatest in the NFL. if any other decent QB had that much time in the pocket then the would be pretty great too.

Super Bowl rings are a team effort. Tom Brady, other than those rings that he received from Bellicheck and the TD's he received from Moss, what does he really have? Really cool short passes to really wide open receivers?

I don't mind the team but some of the players need to be knocked down a couple places. He walks around like he is King of the world and no one can touch him. Even at the game tonight Bryant repeated saying that, because someone else had said it. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end it's just a matter of time before someone takes him down and he will not be the topic of all football discussions. I guess it pays to be unsportsman like when you lose a Championship game, you run off the field cause you are to embarrassed to shake the opposing teams hand cause you screwed up. Everybody screws up in life deal with it like any other football player, you learn from your mistakes.

If its not a team or a player that I have some connection to, than I usually root for the underdog. That description does not fit Tom Brady. I wish the Patriots and he would struggle, but the guy is just too good. He is having perhaps the greatest single season that a quarterback has ever had. Put that up there with his multiple Super Bowl rings, and only a hater could say he isn't great.

Average rating for an average quarterback. Give Drew Brees or Jake Plummer a killer offensive line, defense, Bellichick, and Weis and give 'em a screen-happy offense and you'll get the same amount of titles. Not a bad quarterback by any means, but there really is nothing special about him. Doesn't deserve half the media attention he gets. God only knows what Peyton Manning could do if he had 45 seconds to throw the ball. (By the way, note how far Tom Brady carried his team when a few essential pieces were missing this year).

Tom is the man! Kind of overrated, but still the man! He doesn't play just for money, he's not stuck up, good looking all American boy, his name is Tom Brady. I've been described as Tom Brady, except I'm not good looking, athletic, or tall. Darn it! Well my gf likes me! But I still rock! This is America!

He's good not great. I'm pretty sure someone will want to show me stats. Put Brady on the 49ers and we'll see how good he is. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Tom Brady, I just think he's overated because he's Captain America. Guys like Tom Brady and Brett Favre get all of the credit and none of the blame. His receivers are better than what people make them out to be.

Sorry TMack, but Peyton is easily better than Brady. Brady does have great poise and all of that, but really hasn't put up impressive numbers, which would be required if I were to make him a 5. He does have great leadership, so I'd say he's an easy 4, though. UPDATE: Well, this year Brady lead the NFL in passing yards [4,110] while having a pretty solid QB Rating [92.3]. He may not have got the Pats to the SuperBowl, but I was more impressed by him personally than I had ever been. I don't think I have an excuse not to rate him a 5 now, even with his horrible 4 INT performance I watched against the Chiefs.

everyone takes about how he won super bowls with the defense. but with the same team drew bledsoe went 5-11 in 2000 and started out 0-2 before getting hurt. If it is all about the defense, then how do you explain drew bledsoe going 5-13 with the same receivers and same defense.

Against the kansas city chiefs Big Bad Bonehead Tom had 4 interceptions!!!! He won superbowls only because of Charlie Weis. Tom Brady sucks!!!! He is a complete and total idiot. And by the way, fans who come to an opposing team's stadium "Shut The $%#@ Up and Just Watch the Game." Some stupid Patriots fan started trash talking about Tom Brady and how he won 3 superbowls even though he just threw 4, yes 4 interceptions that day. By the end of the game this guy almost got thrown off the top of the stadium!!! If you come to our stadium, IN KANSAS CITY, DONT CHEER FOR YOUR TEAM, JUST SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!!!

Overrated like no player in NFL history. Take him away from a team that throws screen passes 50% of the time and has a dominating defense and you would have watched this guy crumble right out of football in less time than it took to draft him (however long 6 rounds last). The proof is in the following points: 1. Charlie Weis could make my grandma look good in the QB position. His system is as QB friendly as you can get, witness the amazing transformation of Brady Quinn at ND. I'm an ND fan, but come on, Quinn is nowhere near as good as Charlie is making him look....same with T.Brady. 2. The whole "Poise" and "cool under pressure" hype is a bunch of b.s. Brady's quarterback rating drops a whopping 18 points (as of this past Friday 97 to 79) when he's blitzed. Just watch his games, if there's pressure on him, at all, watch him throw it way over his receiver's head or into the ground, he can't handle it. Again, without that defense and a LOAD of 1-2 yard screen passes, we're not even talking about this guy. On any other team, he'd be out of football by now...long gone.

I just dont think Tom Brady is all that the media makes him. He did not win the SuperBowl. Without Adam, the patriots would have lost many of the games that they managed to win. It is just so damn sickening with his endorsements and all of the sportscasters waxing his genital region. One (male) announcer even replied "Not only is he handsome...he really knows how to come through in the clutch."

A sixth round draft pick in 2000 this guy has literally turned into the best in the business- anyone who says other wise is watching MetroLeague Girls Soccer on Sundays. In four years since become the full time starter Brady has won THREE... yes count them guys... THREE! Superbowl titles- and 2 Superbowl MVPs. And it's not like the Superbowls the Pats won were drag out defensive battles. Over those 4 years he's passed for 15k in regular season, has completed 62% of his passes, has thrown 104 TD passes to only 56 Int's with a QB rating of 90. He's got a strong arm, quick release and he's simply as cool as a cucumber during crunch time. If I need a winning drive with less that 2 minutes on the clock this is the guy I want running the show without a doubt!

I don't get it... why is the media on this man's balls? I watch him on TV and I am not impressed. He won 2 Superbowls, but he is just part of a good offense and plan. Put him on the Browns and he sucks. I can't wait til Brady shows his true colors on a crap team THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tom Brady is the most overhyped player in sports. The reason why he's good is because he's on a good offense. Adam Vinateri won his games for him. Why? because he kicked 3 field goals that gave him the super bowl trophies. In fact I hate the entire Patriots team. they won 3 super bowls by a grand total of NINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tom Brady sucks. I don't care what people say how good he is.

Best quarterback in the NFL; sorry Peyton. This guy has more poise than anybody I've ever seen. He makes good decisions, is very accurate, and has an underrated deepball. His toughness is also underrated; he'll stand in the pocket until the very last second and takes some nasty hits. Very underrated.

T Brady, is perhaps the new Joe Montana. Sorry, ESPN your becoming so corporate with your analogies it's almost becoming pedestrian to watch Sportscenter anymore. He is not, in the same league as Joe Montana but he draws comparisons to him-but the line stops there. If he wins Super Bowls by 45 points then i might make a case for the best ever, but this last Super Bowl his heart just simply didn't look like he was in it (That was a very costly fumble he made, and if this where the Panthers they would of pounced on the PATS). But the one thing he has that I've never seen is that he is unflappable in big games and has a great poker face. Nothing fazes him, he could be down by 20 and he'll look at the opposing teams and simply say Let's play some F---ing cards. Right now he is already in Canton, he has 3 rings but he is no Joe and no one will ever be. Brady worked his ass off to play in this league and he is not going anywhere any time soon, if he wins 2 more then he is the best ever. But, not now he is not even 28 yet....Breathe nuttriders...Breathe

Make no mistake about it, Tom Brady is the best NFL quarterback in the biggest games today. Like his hero, Joe Montana, Brady delivers when he has to. And he seems to have a flair for the dramatic, as evidence by his winning drives in Super Bowls XXXVI and XXXVIII. Though he is becoming a legend, however, Brady will never surpass Joe Montana in the annals of professional football. Yes, Brady has better arm strength than the 49er great. And Brady may have better, overall natural abilities. But Joe Montana was definitely the smartest quarterback to ever play in the NFL. Yet, Brady will continue to forge his own legacy.

Yes, Brady plays on a very good team. He is in fact the most integral part of that team, and therefore must be at least a very good player himself. If being QB was just about throwing the ball, collecting numbers, you could rank others above him, but theres more to his position than that. The QB is the general of the team, the leader. This is where he shines. He reads defenses, picks up blitzes, finds the open man on pass plays, often the third/forth guy. (Thats why the PATS usually have 7 or 8 different receivers in a game). There are QBs that play really well against lesser defenses, but their performance drops off dramatically when facing stiffer competition. Brady plays consistently well against all of them. His play elevates with the game on the line. Take SB-39 as an example, The PATS offense did nothing until Philly scored. Then it became unstoppable until they took the lead. When Philly tied the game, they clicked back into high gear, scoring twice, including the winning points. The guy puts up Ws better than anybody!

Is it normal to completely hate this guy in all fashions??? I think that he is the most overrated QB of all time. I don't care how many rings he has recieved. There are certain lucky QB's that have won rings and have had a fantastic offensive/defensive line!!! Do you think that Tom Brady is better than the great Dan Marino??? Thought so...

So you people are implying that Super Bowl rings alone make a good quarterback? Going by that logic, you're saying that Tom I can't throw the ball more than 40 yards Brady is better than Dan Marino? No. The Patriots' defense was the main reason they got to the Super Bowl both times, not Brady. Well, that and the refs.

Tom Brady is a legend, this guy comes in out of no where and wins to friggen superbowls. And he is the youngest to ever do so. This man is making a name for himself. He has the best winning record in Overtime, never lost a playoff game, and plays so well under pressure. I know he doesn't have anything spectacular in arm strength etc. but neither did Joe Montana and Montana is arguable the best QB of all time. I know Tom Brady is just starting to play ball and it may be too soon to compare him to the all time great, but come on... 2 superbowl wins and MVP's out of 3 years?!?!?!?!?! this guy is doing some serious damage in the NFL, I'd keep my eye on this guy.
