A proud cornerstone franchise that's very important to the league. . .great, great fans in (easily) one of the best cities in America. Solid uniforms, too. . .But I will always knock off a star for the Bears strange history with Quarterbacks. . .it's worse than Bristol Palin's forays into proper use of birth control. . .

People, please(!), give our Chicago Bears a break. It is cold outside and our Bears, naturally, are in their annual hibernation... Thank you, GFofGoku(thelastSaiyan)

The bears are in no shape of winning more than 6 games next season because of rex grossman
TeresaG 04/22/2008
They are my boys ~ through good and bad! Unfortunately, while they have a great coach (God Love ya Lovie!!!) ~ they haven't had a worthy QB since McMahon.

Da Bears.

I post this on Superbowl Sunday, February 4, 2007. - Bear down, Chicago Bears! Make every play clear the way to victory! - Bear down, Chicago Bears! Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly! - We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T formation. - Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown - You're the pride and joy of Illinois. Chicago Bears, bear down!

They have a quarterback who is fragile, they don't have a true number 2 receiver, they have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and they play in the worst division in football. That spells out Division champion, but a quick exit in the playoffs. Expect a decent record and major upgrades to the offense in the 2007 offseason.
Dukesucks 03/29/2006
The Bears are the best team of the NFC North (as much as I hate to say this, because I like the Pack.)
bearsfn16 01/01/2006
John St. Clair what did he do besides get in the way and waste time until his next meal
numbah16tdhaha 10/12/2005
Currently they are not that good. Some people need to quit living in the past.
msbearsfan 09/23/2005
BEAR DOWN!!! The bears are going to keep improving and fight their way to the top of the NFC North and eventually the superbowl...SO WATCH OUT!! GO BEARS!

Next season this team will give the 49ers a run for their money as worst team in the NFL.

The Bears Suck so bad its incredible, I mean not only does the team suck a** but every one of their fans does to. It will be fun watching the pack lay down the smack for the rest of my life!

Just look at last season's record.
grouper 07/29/2004
It soon will be time for those Packer fans behind the Cheddar Curtain to shut-up once again for another 3 decades The Bears will shine till 2009
bbutler76 04/29/2004
The bears suck and even they know it. Look forward to another 4-12 season you losers. Can't wait for the pack to beat up on their asses again( what is that like 16 out of the last 20). Bad moving drafting Rex Grossman, he will end up just like Cade McNown. Gotta love it when the bears suck year in and year out. This year should be no different.
Favreisthemast er4 04/05/2004
Gay franchise that can't ever win against the greatest team ever. The Green Bay Packers! Favre is God!
roblinb 11/08/2003
I think everyone pretty much figured the Bears weren't gonna be Super Bowl champs when the signed the king of the world, KORDELL "No I ain't gay" STEWART for crying out loud. He did wonders for Pittsburgh, so let's put him on a crappy team. Whoopee, we're good now!!! The running back A-Hole is the only thing better than average on offense, and Brian Urlacher isn't exactly challenged as the best guy on defense. This team will probably never, ever be good again. But then again, aside from the freak 13-3 campaign two years ago, when was the last time that anyone thought that they didn't completely blow donkey's?
lowrider 09/22/2003
need to find a quarterback brian U. can't win games for them

the bears kick a** and will always kick a**, there is nothing that you bear haters do about it. Because they are the sh**. oh yeah the packers are only ruling over scum in the swampland up north. Farve is the king of scum.

I'm a long suffering Bears fan. 2001 was a miracle season, 2002 was a nightmare. Offensive coordinator John Shoop needs to be FIRED immediately; every time I watched the Bears this past year, Shoop would call a two yard pass play when it's 3rd and long. You simply can't win football games like that. The Bears need alot of work but they have alot of excellent young players on defense to build around. I really REALLY hope they don't go after Kordell Stewart; unfortunately they probably will since the Bears have the worst taste in free agents.
Rusty 04/22/2003
NFC North teams are boring; the Super Bowl Shuffle has slowed to a crawl
TheMyth 04/09/2003
Talk about biggest disappointments, and the 2002-2003 Bears rank up there. Plagued by injuries and by far the HARDEST SCHEDULE, it's a wonder they won only 4 games. If they can ever get the running game going again, Kordell will have alot easier time. PLEASE GOD, LET THEM HAVE A GOOD DRAFT.
angusmacpherso n 04/03/2003
Don't think "Slash" is going to be a significant upgrade--if one at all--at QB. 6-10 in 2003...at BEST.
bearsfan1 01/11/2003
they are only a QB away from being great
Jason1972 10/31/2002
How can you not think of the Bears when you think of classic football (before 1980). Walter Payton, Mike Ditka, Sayers, Butkus, there were some solid players on that team.
Nic G 01/23/2002
They are worse than terrible!
skip811 12/11/2001
The bears are one quarterback and one offensive coordinator away from being a gret team.
Cage_rules 11/10/2001
Talk about a shocker! This team is now up and rising with a killer dfence. They are doing a whole lot better than my loser team(lions). but im the loyal type. But go bears!
Ruby 11/09/2001
OK this is what I wrote in March 2000 -- "The Bears are going to be a playoff team in 2001 and a real contender in 2002. Young talent, good coach -- they're going to surprise the rest of the Central." -- let's update this by admitting that my playoff prediction for last year (when they finished last in the Central) was a bit off, but now I am going to be VINDICATED! The 6-1 Bears aren't invincible or anything like the Super Bowl Shufflin' Bears of 1985, but they have a confident strut all their own. After two incredible comebacks (14 points down in the 4th quarter, leading to OT victories on returned INTs), you have to say they're for real. Urlacher is the best young linebacker in the game, and you might say the same about Anthony Thomas at RB. Whether Jim Miller or Shane Matthews has what it takes to keep this team together is yet-to-be-determined, but I'm betting that the Bears will have a Super Bowl victory by 2004 at the latest! Now let's all join in a song: "We are the Bears Shufflin' Crew / Shufflin' on down, doin it for you..."
dobomb34 10/13/2001
Now that Jim Miller is in, the bears are going to start to suprise alot of people.

The Bears, over the past few years, shouldn't even BE rated!
ejst3548om 01/04/2000
Chicago bears are under-rated.
ITAR2616OM 12/10/1999
I WAS BORN IN CHICAGO & LOVED HALAS SINCE 1935 BUT SINCE 1970 I'VE BEEN ROOTING FOR THE WEST COAST. WITHOUT A TOP QB THE BEARS CAN'T MAKE IT. LOOK AT THIER HISTORY & YOU WILL AGREE.
