Carolina looked good all preseason and they beat an elite Chargers team and I'm very optimistic that Carolina can win the division and get back to the Super Bowl... as long as Carolina stays healthy that is.  By the way, my prediction on Super Bowl 42 this season is Chargers vs. Panthers.  I hope the Bucs don't mind us using their stadium!

They should seriously make their Carolina blue jerseys the permanent home jerseys, and wear either the silver pants or get either black or Carolina blue to wear with their white jerseys.I'm sorry but silver helmets and white pants don't look right.

BEST UNI'S IN THE LEAGUE...HANDS DOWN! (and I'm a die-hard Texans Fan!) The color scheme is perfect, the logo is awesome (even though I think there are too many "cat nicknames" in the league right now) Everything about this uniform is perfect, EXECPT when they where those alternate blue uni's. Throws the whole color scheme off in my opinion. They should stay far away from that jersey. The should have an all black uni. It would definently work. BEST UNI'S...MY ONLY 5 STAR RATING (SO FAR)

You have to really admire the job John Fox has done with this team. Fox rarely gets the credit he deserves for taking this team from 1-15 (pre-Julius Peppers) and bringing them to a contender every year. Delhomme isn't flashy, but he gets the job done. Steve Smith always plays with a chip on his shoulder, and Keyshawn Johnson was a brilliant add (assuming he doesn't go T.O. on everyone). I don't like that Will Weatherspoon is gone, but Thomas Davis has amazing ability and potential. He may have a learning curve to overcome, but he should be fine in their system. This team will go as far as their runningbacks can take them. DeShaun Foster is a poor man's Fred Taylor (great back with major health concerns). The future of this team and it's success may just lay with DeAngelo Williams. However, I fear he may have the same problems as Foster (not because of his size, but the fact that he packed Memphis on his back while he was in college). If their backs stay healthy, they... Wow guys. I'm impressed. A lot of positives going into this season, especially that win against the Patriots. Keep up the good work, and don't muff this season.

Carolina looks really good, but in the black jerseys. The blue ones make them look like Detroit. They should wear blue pants for home and away.

Carolina has alot of upside going into this year if they can avoid too much trouble from the steroid scandal.

What can i say about this team, The Work hard, and play harder than anybody, when it comes down the strech, But why at the begining of seasons are they so weak? I live in Charlotte and see them Try so hard every Year. Maybe this year. The draft was good to them.

I think the Panthers deserve alot of credit for these uniforms because they were really cutting edge at the time the of the team's inaugural season. Not only is their color blue unique but they also introduced white pants on their road unis which has a very clean but tough look to it. They were also the first team to have the incomplete striping on the helmets and the unique stripe on the pants. I also like that, other than introducing the alternate blue jersey, they haven't changed uniforms their uniform design (unlike the Jags who have had about 5 different variations in the 10 years of the team. The only thing I would change would be that they should wear their black jerseys for all home games. Leave the whites strictly for the road and wear the blue jerseys in road games in which their opponent chooses to wear white.

These are OK, all black would fit them since they are panthers.

Reasonably conservative for an expansion team, despite irregular helmet & pants striping and an odd shade of blue, but doesn't hold a candle to the Michigan Panthers (USFL), who had a great color scheme and the best helmet in pro football history.

The shade of blue is very dated... need to go with traditional Carolina blue. The stripping(pants & helmets)needs to be changed to more traditional and the logo is terrible! Also should introduce all black uniform

powder blue and black is a good combo. the blue should be the primary jersey. lose the sleeve logo and put the numbers there. fix the pant stripe and helmet stripe but other than that pretty ok.

Im amazed at the comeback...theres a big chance of winning the division but superbowl is a long ways off. Just don't be fooled and think that last year was luck. The panthers are good and they have been plagued with injury this year...the top rushers...kasay for a couple of games....Went to the bucs panthers game....it was awesome...going to the game this weekend too...Im all for the panthers ruling the world!! Don't count them out... Go Panthers!

the carolina blue with the black pants is a GREAT UNIFORM! This team is one of those expansion trendy teams so they need to stay with one look and build some tradition before you can even care much (outside of Carolina) about what the Heck uniform they wear.Stay with the Great helmet and colors...win a Super Bowl or Two...than maybe NFL fans around the country will give a hoot about the Panthers uniforms...otherwise they'll probably go the way of the Buccaneers pumpkin Orange!!

Really nice (home and away). Like how they only wear white pants/blue socks with white jerseys, and have never deviated from it. Compared to others, alternate jerseys okay.

Terrible. Part of the late 80's and early 90's teal and silver obsession (See San Jose Sharks) that dominated new franchises and new colors Stale, gaudy, and out-of-date.

I don't know how this team blew the Super Bowl after all the close games they won during the 03 season. I've never had more fun during an NFL season as I had watching them every Sunday. Watch out ya'll Jake is back!

The blue alternatvie uniform would be one of the better ones in the league. The black is just looks dull and unimaginative. Just another uni. Not terrible, but nothing that grabs your attention either.

Pro football is a flashy game, which means I generally prefer the flashier uniforms. As a result the uniforms worn by the Carolina Panthers rise towards the top of my preference list. The team has three jerseys, namely the black with light blue trim, white with light blue trim, and light blue with black trim. The color home uniforms are distinctive, especially the alternative blue, and the road white is classy. Finally, the helmet decal is shaped like the Carolinas (ie North and South Carolina).

The black jersies are unimaginative. The alternate carolina blue jerseys with the silver helmets and pants could be the best in the NFL. The problem is that they occasionally wear them.

This is a hard team to figure out. They start 5-0, including a fairly impressive win over the Colts, and then go 1-2, and in their one win just barely beat the underachieving Saints in OT. Stephen Davis has made a huge difference, but Jake Delhomme is a weak starting quarterback. True, he has more upside than ancient Rodney Peete, but the guy is not going to win many games if he had to throw the ball thirty times. This team is all about keeping it simple, with ball control and defense. So far it has worked, and they have a relatively easy second half with Tampa Bay, Dallas, and maybe Philadelphia being the toughest matches coming up. If they lose to Tampa Bay, the Panthers may hit a wall and stumble. The NFC South was strong last year, but this year it sucks. 9-7 would be plenty good enough to make the playoffs. Look for Carolina to be in the 9-7 to 10-6 range and win the division as long as Tampa Bay doesn't suddenly turn into the team it was last year and snatch 6 or 7 wins ... Read more

What an awesome defense. With the addition of Wilkerson and Stephen Davis. The return of Kris Jenkins, Buckner and Peppers. The only question mark is Jake Delhomme and I believe he will come through and mature with the talent around him. The Carolina Panthers will be a team to reckon with for years to come!

Where does it say that the Carolinas have to have sports franchises? They lose the Hornets and they're in the heart of basketball country! Oh, wait, I get it, they're nouveau-riche in terms of wealth and population, so let's go for it and get hockey while we're at it!

They deserve a 2 1/2, but I give them the benefit of the doubt. They've got to get over their mid season implosions, and they have to find some offense. Chris Weinke has been a bust so far, Jake Delhomme is unproven, so the task of leading this team goes to Rodney Peete. I'm not a Carolina fan, but wouldn't it be one of the biggest NFL stories ever if he could lead his team deep into the playoffs. It would be the 2nd biggest thing in Carolina Panther football's short history.
