Consistently respectable year in and year out. Speaks volumes about the quality of management and coaching.

They look just as ugly, as they did when they were the Oilers.

Titans are doing it with defense.  Pass rush is phenomenal, safety's are leading the league in picks.  And the run game - the 1-2 punch of Lendale White getting the short games and Chris Johnson, explosive speed is picking up some serious yards.  While Kerry Collins is getting up there he is not making a ton of mistakes, very consistent and has yet to be sacked.  I believe the Titans will make a good run this year.

I hate everything about Tennessee. Growing up an Oilers Fan, I was glad when they moved after losing that game to Buffalo. After all of the years of choking in Houston, they go to Tenn and become Super bowl contenders!! Bastards! There logo sucks..looks like a flaming thumbtack. And there colors would be decent if they didn't belong to Tennesse! Oh, by the way...SCREW VINCE YOUNG!

I am from tennessee and i used to like the titans but i think they suck now. i used to be a di-hard football fan until after 9/11 when look who won the superbowl. The patriots. right after a terrorist attack when the country is in a time of tumoil and when everyone was putting the flag outside their house look who won the superbowl and look what their colors are. The colors that inspire a nation to rise and remember where we came from and how we had to fight to get here. then look who won after that the same team. thats why i think football is rigged and thats why i switched to professional wrestling.

Based on potential on offense they are a 4. Based in Reality they are a 1, so a 2 it is. Lendale White is at a cross roads right now; He'll either be a good, solid back who ends his career with 7,000 or 8,000 yards, or he'll turn into a PG-13 Rated Maurice Clarrett. He needs to get down off the pedistal in his own mind and buckle down. I'm deathly afraid that Vince Young will suffer from the Michael Vick Syndrome; an overrated quarterback who shows his potential one play then makes a terrible , drive ending throw the next. They have a handful of great defensive players, but in the end they'll have a top 10 pick in next year's draft.

As a Jacksonville Jaguar fan, I can't help but give these guys a 4. I really mean it when I say they're a good team, but face it, I just can't take part in this team as much as one would like. I feel obligated to hate this team because of my Jags. Sorry, good ball club though.

Seahawks may have the worst colors, but this is hands-down the worst uniform design. First of all, what's up with the helmet logo? A T with some flames and stars? What the heck does that mean? Go see the Giants helmet for a way to make a basic letter design look classy. Their uniforms are trying too hard to be modern. Some sports (soccer, for example) look good with modern, flashy uniforms. Retro/old school looks best in football and baseball. Uniforms like the Titans' are the equivalent of what the Oakland A's wore in the 70's. They look like cast-offs from the old World League of American Football.

Love the home and away uniforms. The alternative uniforms may be too much though, but still love the color scheme and logo due to it's out of the box look that stands out from the classic NFL uni's.

I can't really can't pinpoint anything specific, but there's something I don't really like about them. I would like to see them use the red more often.

Consistently ranked by sportswriters, players, coaches and NFL employees as one of the top 5 football organizations in the League. Great team, great attitude, great pride and morale, excellent coaching staff, GM and front office, outstanding legacy as a franchise, great city to live in and fans to play for (speaking from experience), easily one of the most respectable and respecTED franchises in the NFL. Sorry that all you naysayers are so obviously misinformed. Don't base your entire opinion on one bad season that was plagued by injuries, few teams have accomplished what they did between 1997 and 2004. They have the foundation necessary to properly re-tool, rebuild, and come back. We hope Coach Fisher will NOT go ANYwhere until he retires in 20 more years or so.

I don't like white helmets and this teams logo and helmet are among the worst in the NFL. I generally like the color scheme though and there is some hope for these unis in the future. Gotta get a decent logo and a Navy helmet for that to happen though.

I don't really like these, and I do think the Oilers had better uniforms than this, especially when they had the light blue helmets. One guy said that the Cardinals and Rams should have changed their names when they moved. No way, those two franchises have been around forever, good thing they kept their names. But the Cardinals should still be in St. Louis and the Rams should still be in Los Angeles.

Memo to the Titans: This is the NFL, not the NHL. Lose the shoulder yoke. And can anyone actually read those numerals from a distance?

    Sun Jan 23 2005

Change the helmet color to dark blue and get rid of the different shoulder color on the jersey... at any rate they are a helluva lot better than the Oilers (and at least they changed their name when they changed cities... are you listening AZ and STL?)

Great look, both home and on the road. Only bad look is the light blue tops with the dark blue pants. Love the flaming T helmets and the two sharp points at the top of the helmet is a look others have copied.

Although the titans are not bad by any stretch, they lost key components that will cause them to falter this year. With Kearse and George gone, someone will have to step up in both areas. Alas, they have yet to aquire serious void fillers. However, as long as Mcnair is at the helm, the Titans will always be some sort of contender. However, I think this years team will finally be too much for old Steve to carry on his own.

Dumb logo, ugly uniforms, boring name. Canadian Football at its finest! THIS WAS THE BEST THEY COULD COME UP WITH? After wanting a team for so long? Someone needs to fire someone who came up with this brain storm. This logo would look great at their 55 yard line! OH CANADA!!!

Decent uniforms. Due to the syphistication of the numbers and shoulders design, no one looks especially good in them. Alternate light blue jersies would look better if worn with white pants.

Very difficult to root for this franchise. Took the distinct colors of the Oilers and destroyed them with the current rollerball uniforms. Very good football team but embarrassment for the NFL in terms of fan interest. Houston Oilers - much better

While I'm not totally sold on these guys, Steve McNair is doing good things with this team. He truly is a winner with a lot of talent, and he wills this team to victory sometimes. The defense is opportunistic, and I think they will make the playoffs as (at least) a wild card team this year. I expect some bumps along the way, especially since Eddie George can't get it done anymore, but 10-6 is reasonable. If McNair gets hurt, this team could be in trouble.

Ugly uni's. Their dark pants suck and the jerseys, both white and dark blue are ugly because of the different color at the shoulders. Too much overkill with the merchandising appeal.

I can't stand the Titans, as I'm a hard core Jaguar fan. But I will give them props; I was estatic when they started off horribly. Then Steve McNair and the boys started a run. Carlos Hall played brilliantly as Jevon Kearse's backup before he was hurt too. He has a lot of upswing, and may be a big name End in a few years. Hopefully my boys can take down the Titans next year.

My favorite team - a group of really tough guys with a lot of heart. They don't always look the best doing it, but they usually find a way to win; as far as entertainment value goes they are high because they usually play close games. The heart of the team is now Steve McNair who is along with Brett Favre the toughest quarterback I have ever seen.
