Thier is no character to thier uniforms. Just plain white number on the blue jerseys, and just plain red numbers on the white jerseys.

I can't believe people like these hideous things.Nothing matches on the uniforms, the gray has got to go,and those red uniforms don't match anything.

The giants are going down in history this year. Having beaten a 18-0 team in the greatest score defecet in superbowl history, with a quarterback said not capable of leading a team to the superbowl under center like his brother, a weak secondary that couldnt handle the great amount of offensive threats on the patriots, and a team that had a coach with no ability to control his players on the edge of being fired. Well they showed all those critics.GIANTS RULE!SUPER BOWL CHAMPS/ WORLD CHAMPS 2008

I've been a Giants fan for 21 years and you know what? I actually prefer the Lawrence Taylor/Harry Carson/Phil Simms superbowl uniforms. The only thing I didn't like back then was the white pants with the white away jersey. I thought it should have been the gorgeous royal blue on the pants with the white jersey. I still prefer the word "Giants" to the "NY" as a team symbol. As for the away uniforms that are white and red, UGH! I say UGH! OOGLY as hell. And the red home shirts are almost as bad. It's a shame really, because I thought they were perfect before and now... I only like the blue home uniforms.

Absolutely hate the white road uni's...The home blues are ok. but the retro white with red numbers and grey pants with a blue helmet are horrible...

I hate NY, but these are pretty decent unis. I would put a big red apple on the helmet.

The white unis from approx 01 to 04 are the best ever in the league. Changedc them a little for the '05 season (not quite as sharp), but still the best.

Gray face mask is great. Only one suggestion: toss the blue jersey and wear the red one every home game. It looks much cooler.

Another great retro look, but not as good as the Jets'. Metallic-blue paint on the helmet diminishes it somewhat, but they finally got the road whites right; bravo. The home blues are the plainest jerseys in the league, which is not a bad thing, but would look better with the TV numbers on the sleeves instead of the shoulders, and white pants.

No team made a better choice in going back to a retro look. The Giants went from having arguably the worst helmet in the NFL to arguably the best (I still think the Steelers have the #1 helmet). I love that the pants are grey rather than silver. These unis are awesome!!!

I know that they went back to old look with the helmet having NY on it. But I like more the helmets that said Giants on them.

love them. move the numbers to the sleeves and lose the stupid little red tag on the collar where the shield is but other than that pure brilliance. love the grey facemask.

Old ones were ok with the white pants. But, these new/old are awsome! Classic football look without even having to have the color black in the color scheme.

I think the new color scheme is okay, I like the flashier blue helmet (although the old uniforms weren't bad either). But I have a problem with the NY logo, should've put an NJ logo on the helmet. Come on guys! Who are you fooling? We all know you are the New Jersey Giants! They haven't taken a snap as the home team in NY since 1976. I think its time for 1 more change in the uniforms.

The retro look was a great decision by Giants management. I never liked the Giants, but when they changed back to their mid-60's uniforms, I purchased Giants souvenirs - just because of the great look of the helmets and jerseys.

Pro football is a flashy game which means I generally prefer the flashier uniforms. As a result the uniforms worn by the New York Giants land around the middle of my preference list. The dark blue and white is classy and traditional, but not unique or inspiring. Moreover, the helmet decal is bland with the simple ny.

Super Bowl??? Please. The smallest Giants in the world are an average team with an average coach in an average division. 4-4 with a weak schedule, still means these scrubs will finish at 7-9 or 8-8. Kerry Collins has a good arm, but he is an alcoholic and I hope he starts pounding the sauce again. He'll need it when he throws his good strikes and damn Toomer drops it in the end zone. Jeremy Shockey is a big, loud, red neck who is low on intelligence but he is a good tight end. He's the best player on offense, still. Tiki Barber is not an every-down back, and the Giants are kicking themselves for wasting a draft pick on fat Ron Dayne. The pass defense is solid, and the run defense is okay, but this team is always predictably inconsistent.

Boy do the Giants play some ugly football, but somehow win more often than they lose. I would NEVER put any money on today's Giants; you never know which Giants team is going to show up.

I give the extra star for heart. I have always disliked the Giants, but watching them off and on last season, I couldn't help but warm up to them. Tiki Barber is one of the hardest working and down to earth player at runningback. These guys play with more heart than anyone in the league, including the Titans. This is a blue collar team, and that's what makes them the underdog people love to cheer for.

They will be the team to beat in 03. Mark my words. They have bonafide offensive weapons and will shore up the D-line. They will dominate. It has finally all come together.

The worst thing about the bad call in that niners game is that it overshadows the giant's woefully weak DEFENSE in that second half. THAT is what should be on players and fans minds til next season...not the stupid call.

  • by

    Thu Jan 09 2003

They should have never been in the position they were in. The niners scored 25 unanswered points. The Giants screwed themselves.
