I bought Riddex plus a month ago, very expensive- for 42 euros in Carrefour, Barcelona, Spain Before that I tried Raid Max, Boric Acid and then, while still seeing dead roaches on the floor and nearly fainting from screaming, I plugged Riddex plus in on top of that, just in case. It does make an IRRITATING ultrasound noise EVERY 30 SECONDS. It is in fact it can be heard by humans, and is enough to make you crazy. I don't know if Riddex plus keeps roaches away from my place - I haven't seen any for more than 1 month, but this noise every 30 seconds doesn't make any sense: Whoever I speak on Skype, or telephone they also can hear it and ask me: What is that irritating noise....? So I don't get it, Why does it say that it is only irritating roaches and rats? That is not true, it is irritating me and my friends too, very much.

Simply put, either the Riddex Pro Pest Repeller is a ripoff or all my rodents and insects are totally deaf. The only thing about it that works is the separation of your money from your wallet. One mouse proved that to me when I saw the critter taking a breather sitting atop the unit. Riddex did not bother that one (or any of the other beasties) in the least. Exterminators may charge more, but at least they actually do get rid of the pest problems, and keep them gone. No more mice, no more insects now, no thanks to Riddex. This site requires a star rating and you have to give, at the very least, one star. My actual rating is minus 10 stars. I am very surprised that such a reputable company as Amazon would expose their customers to this garbage. I do hope they reconsider and remove Riddex (and anything else the Dynamic Response Group offers that Amazon may sell) from their otherwise fine offerings. The Dynamic Response Group company makes lots of money off of Riddex and all the cu... Read more

I can tell you from personal experience that Riddex Pro works on mice. I use two devices in my place. Before I plugged them in, I had a bad mice problem. A couple days after I started using Riddex, the mice disappeared. I have been mice and mice dropping free for about three months. Contrary to what some reviewers are saying, the device works!!! I think the problem is that one unit may not work as well as two. It depends on the size of the your place.

Had a similar product years ago and it worked fine. Living in the tropics (Puerto Rico) the creepy crawly and flying pests are a HUGHE nusense. This product did not completely eliminate them but the roaches are seldom seen (I think they getting smatter at hide-n-seek). No effect on ants, mosquitos or anything that flies and thank God have not seen any rodents which are the size of house cats here and walk the electrical lines with the agility of trapeze artists. They do not put that in the brochures. My BIGGEST complaint about this product is the UNAVAILABILITY of direct mailing to Puerto Rico. Had to use family stateside address and have them Fedex it to me. What's up with the embargo bullcrap? Puerto Rico is a common wealth of the US. And yes we pay taxes down here too! We're not Cuba!

We purchased 4 of these, then set up a clear acrylic test box with outlets in each side. We then put 50 roaches in the box, plugged in a unit, ensured it was indeed powered on and watched. The roaches not only didn't mind the unit, were not repulsed by the unit, they crawled all over it just as much as they crawled anywhere in the box. We plugged in each unit and repeated the test with the same results. The roaches didn't run, didn't try to avoid, didn't do anything but keep right on crawling where they wanted to despite four units working in a box two foot square.
