I always think that honesty in a relationship is a double edged sword. There are some things where it's a no brainer, always tell the truth, especially when it comes to affairs, or how you feel after a day at work. If you can't share your feelings with your partner then who can you share them with? But if your BF/GF gets you a present that you are not amazed by, just suck it up and say you love it, they don't get their feelings hurt, and you learn how to drop better hints! If a girl asks her BF "Does my bum look big in this?" she is looking for a specific response, so say NO! Like I had a guy who would say he had toast for breakfast and he really had cereal. He was honest enough to tell me that my stretch marks were ugly.. But when asked if he was on cocaine he said he's never done drugs. When I FOUND his drugs, they weren't his. He had it backwards and made me furious!.. Good news is, he is probably in prison.
