12/04/2002 | This rating is for his results at Wimbledon. What an amazing accomplishment to win this most prestigious of tournaments as a wildcard (meaning he couldn't get in based on his results, he had to have a special invitation or he wouldn't have gotten to play). Very rarely have I been happier about a final result than the 2001 Wimbledon.

09/04/2001 | Goran is SOOOO funny! (And he's a terrific grass-court tennis player, too.) I seem to remember Wimbledon when we were dealing with the triskophrenic: Crazy Goran, Good Goran, and Emergency Goran. Plus, he likes and appreciates his fans, always a good thing. Congradulations on Wimbledon, Goran Ivanisevic, and if you ever want to rustle up some new fans, just come to Rateitall!

07/06/2001 | I've always enjoyed watching Ivanisevic play. Lanky, talented, and erratic, you never know if he is going to dominate or stink up the place. There is no doubting his talent - with his 125th ranking and Wimbledon wild card, he has been able to steamroll over players such as Moya, Rusedkski, and Safin to pull together yet another memorable Wimbledon run. When he is on his game, he can do it all - blow you away with his serve, crush lefty groundstrokes, or dazzle you with his touch at the net. As he likes to say, you never know if you are going to get "Good Goran," "Crazy Goran," or "911 Goran..." - maybe that's what makes him so entertaining.
