What a relief. My dog is now contained. I have a Pom who thinks the car is the Indy 500 racetrack. Round and round she would go. I saw a commercial for car insurance that had a guy going over a cliff because of his dog. S I put this barrier right behind the front seats of my Hyundai Santa Fe and with a few towels and some wire ties, my dog is contained in the back and no longer runs around the car while I'm driving. How great is that!

We own a '05 toyota matrix and the barrier fit very well. It helps to have two people putting it together. It does rattle a bit, but it worked out great!

Part of the reason I ordered this travel pet gate was because it got many positive reviews several of which stated that the gate was very easy to install. I found that the wing nuts provided with the gate did not advance over the screws, almost like they weren't tapped all the way or something. This made assembling the whole thing really difficult. I had to get pliers for what should have been easily done with hand-tightening. It took a long time to assemble it. I was really disappointed that the manufacturer didn't even make sure the bolts and nuts were appropriate for the product.

This dog barrier works great, is easy to install, and does not rattle. I highly recommend this product, it keeps our active, large, strong dog in the back of our SUV. It only rattles on our bumpy dirt road, but is quiet on pavement.

A little pain getting it assembled and installed and the clinks and clanks worked out. A second pair of hands would be handy (no pun intended)! But overall, a good barrier for my kitties while traveling long distances. It did adapt well to my 06 RAV4, and with just a turn of the wing nuts, I can remove it and reinstall it without disassembling the whole thing. The padding on the top rail has kept the wire from rubbing against the roof's interior. A good buy.
