HP also produces good scanners. They are easy to use & install. Morever the prices are ok. As the resolution is good, its worth the price. But once it gets faulty. Its very difficult to get it repaired as  the customer service of HP is not very quick & supportive. But over all HP Scanjet are good scanners to use..

Easy to use and moderately priced. You can choose rather you want to scan in color or black and white. You can also choose the size once an item is scanned. Speed is moderate and quality most of the time is very good.

HP ScanJet5370C: This is my first scanner. I've had it for more than a year and after a moderate level of use I can say that I'm very satisfied with it. At least it's done everything I wanted it for. I have a Win98, 433Mhz PC. I use the USB connection. The setup was very easy. I've scanned photos from various formats of paper, mainly for storing on the PC or using on the web. Prior to buying it I had read people's comments, complaining about some fogginess that forms below the glass, requiring removal and cleaning / "drying" of the glass. I took a bet and yes, the fogginess was there (upper right corner) after a while, but for the life of me I cannot seem to find any actual fault with the scanned images. Ocasionally the fogginess goes on and off, perhaps depending on the room humidity as well (my theory) but I've stopped caring about it since I can't seem to find any loss of quality for the pics, at least for the use that i want it for and my requirements (I'm not a designer, I don... Scanjet 6350c. Good scan quality but troublesome, unreliable and unrepairable. No problem with USB. Software crashes regularly. Incompatible with Officejet 1150cse on same computer. Scanner plate glass came dirty on underside, not cleanable. Document feeder only worked once. Lamp failed after 10 hours of use and is not replaceable. HP support is not helpful, web site difficult and little information on the 6350c. Other HP products have been excellent but very disappointed with this one.

These scanners have wonderful resolution and color. Their design is a good addition to the office enviornment. They are good to use with pictures and scanning text into word processors.

HP makes a wonderful line of scanners to choose from. They are very easy to use and hook up to your computer. The extra software that comes with the scanner is very useful and up to date.

These scanners have a very good preview program so you always scan exactly what you want. The problem with this scanner is it is a little tricky getting the resolution down.

I love my scanner, it runs great and it's very easy to use. I love how it runs smoothly, and HP is very good with their products.

It's not that big so it doesn't take up a lot of space and that's a key factor. The image comes up really clear.

Doesn't allow too many options. Takes up too much space. Accessing time is too long. Waits too long to warm up. Spicy price. Doesn't last too long.

This scanner works well with Adobe and scans high resolution with great color. It is a little pricey.

Good resolution option, however should develop more the "million colors" (eg colored photos) option since it is the most used.

I have this scanner, it was cheap and scanned clearly. It might be nice if many scanners were able to scan a larger image. Mine's broken right now, but it seems like a quality product with definite possibilities for Hewlett Packard. I also have an HP computer.

I like the HP ScanJet because it is user friendly. It's fast and easy to use. Everyone I know has an HP ScanJet. It's definitely the best scanner out there.

Actually, HP ScanJet serial scanners are very good in every way. The only bad thing is the expensive price tag.

It does the basic things a scanner should do, and I'm satisfied with the print quality and the options to get more "focused\sharper," or "unfocused." I also like how I can enlarge the image if I wanted to zoom in or out.

I love this printer for its high quality scanning and speed. I couldn't find a better printer because it is unique and comes in many different varieties. This is an overall good deal for consumers.

I enjoyed this scanner. It was very highly recommended and I haven't had any problems with it yet. Although I wish it came with some type of photoshop.

This scanner sounded really cool. It prints, scans, and copies all in one. After a short while, it wouldn't load properly and stretched all the pictures out, becoming rather useless. Go with a flatbed scanner.

HP makes good products. It is probably more expensive but it's high quality and is good for offices. It has a lot of features yet it is still easy to use.

HP'scanjet are quick and easy to use. Easy to manipulate images once scanned in. The only draw back I find is it's lack of compatibility with USB technology in a Windows NT environment.

HP is the best. I am an adult instructor-I teach computers. HP is the most durable and will take the most amount of abuse. It requires the least repair.

Thisi s one of the slowest loading scanners ever. I hate waiting for it. No filter for these ugly speck marks, or any way to cover up scanner blemishes well. It has horrible sizing.

These scanners are easy to install and the resolution is high quality. They will not make a fast computer crash. A pentium processor will not cut it, buy any PII or PI can handle it. Its possible to variate the DPI or even make it black and white scans of color pictures.

They're the best. I like the quality of images I get everytime I scan a picutre. I'm also satisfied with the speed of the Jest R series I own. I also like the fact that they include extra features such as the fax and printer features that come with it. I've never had a hardware problem when it comes to using HP products. I honestly think they're the best. However, they're over priced.

This series included the copy and printer option. When scan the pictures, it looked exactly the same as the hard copy. There are no changes in image color or texture. The DPI is high and makes the image clear with less pixcels.

The HP scanners I've used are similar to their laser printers: rock solid, reliable, well-supported.
