I received my Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-52V4100 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV in just 5 days. I'm not a TV expert but I know a fine picture when I see one and this set has it! It beats the socks off all the televisions I looked at from local retailers. You can customize the picture with a ton of settings options but I left it on vivid right out of the box and it is just fine. The remote and setup process is a cinch and takes no time at all. The onscreen menu is way more user friendly than my old set and really helps you along if you want to make a few fine adjustments to picture and sound. The sound is good very good in fact for a television,I'll add my home theater setup but if you don't want to add home theater the sound quality is more than adequate. The enhanced white glove delivery is ok but they only sent one fella and I had to help him carry the television inside no big deal really, TV is not that heavy and if a crusty geezer like me can do it I think most of Ya'll will have no problem. Delivery guy was very helpful and stayed to make sure nothing was damaged no bad pixels or visible defects and everything powered up ok.I don't know how this TV compares to the Samsung 52 inch. which was my second choice but I've owned Sony products for over 30 years and they have always been reliable and from what I've read are pretty decent if you have a customer service or warranty issue to deal with. Overall I'd say if you are giving this TV a serious look I believe you'll pretty happy with your purchase.

Me and my room mate decided to go all out and get the biggest tv we could fit in our room and found this, GREAT BUY!!! We haven't left our room in days this tv is everything we had hoped for and more, picture is amazing and even though we were a little worried about buying a used tv when it came you wouldn't know it was used, in perfect condition still had the plastic protectors on. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I am so happy with my new TV! The quality is excellent, the screen is big, colors are vivid, it's very nice all around. Happy as well with my transaction through Amazon. TV arrived fast and in perfect condition. I hope to use and enjoy it for many years. Thanks, AMAZON.

My Sony Bravia V series model arrived damaged after 10 days from placing my order. Amazon was very unapologetic and now I will have to wait another 10 days. On top of it the price has since dropped. Amazon is a)not willing to expedite shipment of the replacement TV and b) not willing to match the now lower price of the same TV model. In short, Amazon's service provided an overpriced and damaged viewing experience. And don't forget that you have to take time off to receive the product.

I love this TV! This is my LCD flat panel and I'm amazed. I've always loved Sony's picture quality. It sounds great too. I've seen reviews that talk about these sets having horrible sound but these folks don't know what they're talking about. Only issue out of the box was a sparkle effect on black backgrounds but that was easily fixed via a firmware update on Sony's website. BluRay looks amazing on this set! Know I just need a PS3.
