Sholi opened for Iron & Wine at a show I saw a while back and I was so impressed by their atmospheric and haunting songs that I bought their EP. Although there were a few songs I didn't like that much, the ones that I did, I loved. They're really talented musicians that aren't afraid to experiment...I'm confident their sound will mature in fantastic and unexpected ways with their next release.

My favorite song on the EP (and that they played live) has a strange new music video with sea creatures disassociated from the sea. The song starts off really slow, but builds gradually to a really satisfying aural payoff that starts around 1:30.
