Rough Guides

Although I've never used these guides when travelling ( I hadn't heard of them until recently) so I can't comment on how accurate they are I have been researching different cities etc. with them recently and have found them to be extememly helpful. Often they will have places (at leat on their website) that Lonely Planet does not have. I will definitetly be giving them a real life try on my next trip.

This website is a sucessful adaption of the book series. It leaves a lot to be desired which is fulfilled by buying the books. It would be helpful to have links to foreign consulates/embassies so Visa and passport information could be obtained.

I'm surprised to see this site ranked so low. It has a tremendous amount of information, offering at least something on almost every country, and is fairly easy to use.

Really good for students that want to travel. Gives cheap places to stay and eat!
