G-town Law grads are a dime a dozen. It's much better to graduate from a Top 10, if you want to work in a prestigious NYC firm, and you don't have the best grades. Also, what's with the alternative first year B curriculum? Sounds like b.s. to me.

Strong law school program, particularly the evening division. A cautionary note: core curriculum classes are heavy on theory and light on black letter law. Nevertheless, if you really do want to study the law, Georgetown is a great place to do it.

Georgetown University Law Center draws an amazing and diverse group of students. The clinical programs and legal research and writing are hands on with interesting and entertaining professors. Also--DC is a great place to go to law school with endless internship possibilities.

Very easy curve, so graduating with a good g.p.a. is virtually a lock. Best thing about GULC is that it has a night program, enabling worker bees to get some good learnin'.

GULC is making the right moves to move up into the top tier of law schools. Rapidly improving physical site with recent addition to the main building and purchase of a key parcel of land; founding of new Institute for Study of the Supreme Court (more profs at G-town have argued cases before the Court than at any other school); significantly fewer students entering this fall (about 100 fewer, I believe), driving student-to-teacher ratios down and creating a better learning environment. Clinical education is already the best in the country.

Good overall education. Atmosphere is dominated by a very liberal faculty, so you won't get a great deal of ideological diversity. Campus is adequate, but in a busy, unpleasant area of D.C.
