There is just something about those furry little mice that my cats just can't get enough of! They will chase them around the house batting them from wall to wall down a hallway or spend hours reaching under a door for them. The best part is you can get a pack of several together at any local pet store for just a few dollars. The only drawback is the kitties tend to rip the tails off fairly quickly meaning you do have to replace them from time to time. Certainly not the most durable of cat toys but well worth the price for the entertainment the cats seem to get from them!

If Fur Mice could be 100% guaranteed to be made from rabbit fur, I might consider buying them. Unfortunately, they may be made from cat and dog fur. It's really easy to find this info (reports, video, photos) online. Cats, including pets wearing collars, are stolen off the streets, inhumanely handled & stuffed into cages that are thrown around so they often end up with broken limbs before they are killed. Documented video shows raccoon dogs being skinned alive. The fur type is mislabelled, and even the country of origin may be false. It's not just fur mice. Fur trim may also come from unknown sources with fake labelling. This is why people have been urged to ask stores not to carry such items. Even if dog and cat fur items are supposed to be illegal, it's not possible to test and verify all items. If you want fur mice, you might be able to get some or have some made by contacting Native American/First Nations organizations who make & sell fur items. Certified rabbit pelts ma... Read more

Ahhh, real fur mice. The only non-real mouse that my cat will even bother chasing around the house. He can't be bothered by those phony imitators. When he wants that next to real cat chase experience, the only fur mice is a real fur mice!

These are the only thing my non-PETA loving animal will play with and they are hard to find. PetSmart does not sell them maybe because they are fur and they have to play up to be animal friendly?! Regardless, they can be found at any drugstore and my cat goes crazy over them. It is the closest thing to a real mouse he will ever get to tear apart! The fur also really stands up well to a non-declawed cat, and even my dog played with them!

I feel like mice made with rabbit fur are getting harder and harder to find. My cat has absolutely no interest in the mouse toys made with faux fur. The fact that it smells like an animal is what excites her. These are cheap and provide hours of endless amusement until she rips them apart. They do tend to get lost under furniture or fridges too.

the cat loves the fur mice - carries them around in his mouth - likes to chew the tails off (I guess this is the "best" part) - so after a while, they're tailless and not as interesting - but comes in a pack of 12 - so they'll last a while

My cats love these mice. The little sound from the bead rattling inside keeps them interested. I put a little cat nip in the bag with these real fur mice to start the play time. It's a nice gift to your kittys and you have back ups as your cats loose thier toys

My cats love these things - you can't get them in the UK and I had to send all the way to the US to get them! It was worth every penny - or should I say cent!

My cats absolutely adore these mice. They go crazy over them. The only problem I have is that the cats keep losing them. I don't know where they all end up, but I'm sure I'll find them someday. I should have ordered more of these. I say give these mice a try.

My cats absolutely love these mice! They have a rattle sound that others do not. It drives the cats crazy. We have a 7 month old who plays fetch with us just like a dog, brings it back everytime ! I will buy more as they keep stashing them away from eachother ! Great Product!
