I bought this product because of the great reviews on amazon, but was quite disappointed when I tried it. My hair is really unruly, so I wasn't expecting any miracles, but this product acts and feels like hairspray. My hair felt dry and crispy and didn't produce any waves. I did find that ojon products Ojon Shine and Protect Hair Ritual Kit work really well for my hair type (which is that it's coarse/dry in some areas, and silky/wavy in others). I got the introductory kit, and I feel that it's a much better value than spending $20 on the "wave" spray (which is basically just hairspray).

I have been styling my hair for years with a round brush and blowdryer in order to straighten it because I have a very slight wave to my hair that I always found annoying. The summer has been so humid that no matter what I try (serums, etc) my style always falls flat and that dreaded wave comes out. I went online to research how to handle my hair and found this product. I bought it yesterday and love it! I would suggest washing your hair the night before and practicing with the product first. I washed and towel dried my hair and sprayed a little volumizer on the roots and ran the blowdryer a little through the roots. Then I sprayed Fekkai wave spray all over my hair. The mist is very fine, so it's a little hard to judge how much to use. Then I just scrunched away and let my hair air dry. Just as it is almost dry, I get the hairdryer, flip my hair upside down and blowdry the roots and the rest of the hair while scrunching to remove any remaining moisture (I don't have a diffuser so I... This product is amazing. I have always had sort of frizzy wavy hair and would get frustrated by the gels that create the scrunchy, wet look. This product creates wonderful waves and takes away the frizz. It takes no time and I don't even have to brush my hair when I get out of the shower, just spray it in and you're good to go. I would recommend this to anyone who has the slightest wave or curl in their hair because it is fantastic!

I have another Fekkai product, and loved it so much I wanted to take a look at what else dear Frederic had to offer. I've always wanted a product that would put waves in my hair, but every one I tried before just made my hair stiff, crunchy, and icky looking! I read good reviews about this product, so I decided to give it a try. It amazed me! My hair really doesn't have much natural wave- maybe one or two semi-waves in the back. Frankly, if I leave my hair air-dry without doing anything to it, it looks like cave-woman hair! But not with this stuff! I towel dried my hair until it was just damp. Then I sprayed it all over my hair, flipped my head over and scrunched. (If your hair tends to get frizzy, you may want to add a little cream- such as Fekkai glossing cream- as this product doesn't do much to combat frizz) Then I blow-dryed on low for just a minute or two while scrunching, and let the rest air-dry. I have a few pieces of hair in the front that is quite damaged from colo... Read more

I have thick in-between wavy and straight hair that is also dry and frizzy. Other curl enhancing lotions I have tried have made my hair feel crunchy, hard and sticky, yuck! Not this one. After I wash and condition my hair I apply this spray to almost dry hair, scrunch it and let it air dry. It gives my otherwise limp, frizzy waves definition, lift and bounce. It even adds shine and smells great, sort of like watermelon. It also looks more natural and is much easier than having to use a curling iron. The spray is easy to use and you can't really use too much of it, which is a problem I've had with other products. In between washes I just spray my hair with water and scrunch it to reactivate the waves.
