I loved every second of creating my personalized Monopoly Game. This program was super user friendly... I am not quite sure about past reviews saying this product is not "American-Friendly".... I would have to COMPLETELY disagree. I created this monopoly game for my boyfriend and cannot wait to see his face when he opens it! ** Buyer Beware: This is not an exact replication of a monopoly board.... there are fewer squares and a few tweaks here and there.... overall the same concept... but some minor differences....** There are 32 squares total and in the following order... Starting at HOME, Property, Utility, Property, "Good News" (similar to community chest), 3 Properties, "Lose a Turn"-corner, 3 properties, "Lotto" (replaces Train), 3 properties, "Free Space"-corner(replaces Free Parking), 3 properties, "Bad News", 3 Properties, "Fate"-corner, 3 properties, lotto, Property, Utility, Property..... then home. While creating the game you will be asked to come up with 12 good se... Read more

This turned out to be more time consuming then expected. Also, I could not tell which side of the white adhisive paper was the side to print on & it was very had to separate. I think some mention should be made that there is no money included. It can be purchased separatly. Overall, it was a hit but if I could do it over I would have done a better job. I made it & gave it as a birthday gift.

I bought this kit to make and give as a gift for our good friends. It couldn't have been easier or more perfect. Yes, the traditional Monopoly rules of play are simplified a little bit, but that's a bonus; the traditional Monopoly game takes too long to play while this version does not take as long. It's way more fun, though! I customized everything to our friends' lives, and it was a gigantic hit. You do need to plan about six hours of dedicated time to put this all together, but it is well worth it. Also, instead of using the enclosed regular paper to print the money, I used my own card stock, knowing that Monopoly money wears out fast from repeated play. The bottom line is that this really is simple to use, and I am nearly computer illiterate. I am so impressed by this game. I know I'll buy it again and again to make for other friends, as well.

I bought two of these, one for my sister's 40th birthday and one for my son's High School graduation. They are great to recap someone's life with photos and unique events. You can name the strreets after places they have lived and worked, or activities they participate in. The bad and good news cards were really fun to try and think up. You can really personalize this much like a scrapbook, only it is functional and has a sense of humor about it. This is something I believe my son will use in college and have a fun time remembering what he has accomplished thus far. It takes time, but all of the tools to make something spectacular are in this game.
