Funny / scarey. The best of the series IMO. Bruce Campbell becomes a sort of anti-hero with super-human martial skills. Intersting and entertaining film.

"Evil Dead" movies are supposed to be gory, and this one isn't. It's more of a comedy than anything, and barely qualifies as a horror movie. It's still a lot of fun to watch, and it did make me laugh the whole way through.

This movie was really SILLY!!!Bruce Campbell is a total card!!!His character was NOT to be taken seriously!!!But the funniest thing in the movie(besides him)were those RETARDED skeletons!!!I mean they were trying to stretch his mouth by putting their fingers in it!!!He was even funny as the obnoxious usher in "Spiderman 2"!!!

My alltime favorite movie. I jsut noticed my SN is Ash_WIlliams too, not a coincidense. I respect people who sya this is the worst evil dead movie (I dissagree but respect them) but i hate people who complain that it's a bad movie cause it doesn't make sense, THAT'S BECAUSE THERE"S TWO OTHERS DAMMIT! AS for the guy who said he can't relate to Ash, no duh. DO you relate to The Governator in Predator? If you say you do, you're a jackass. DO you relate to Jack Burton in Big Trouble little CHina, man I doubt it. That doesn't make them bad nmovies now does it?

This isnt exactly a horror movie, its more of a comedy, even though the first two evil deads were horrors.

Just plain stupid, retarded, dumb and not worth wasting your time on. I'd rather read the phone book.

Love it! Bruce Campbell is once again funny and great. It was a bit scary with the Deadites, but not terrifing. I still love it.

Puts this in the comedy section, and then I'll give it a better rating. Still a good movie though.

The funniest of the Evil Dead series. Bruce Cambell is like a comic book which gives this movie it's edge.

I'm with Mr. Pink and Thorne. This movie is a great finisher for the trilogy. Ash becomes such a badass in this chapter. Those who find him shallow are dead wrong. He's been through so much, a cabin of evil creatures(twice) losing his hand and his girlfriend! After all that he comes back and kicks major ass to end the series. Great movie. Watch it.

words cannot describe how much i love this movie. this is provably my favorite b-movie ever. bruce campbell is my hero. sam raimi is a genius. ok people who watch this movie and are expecting to be scared are to be sorely dissapointed, because this movie is in no way scary. this movie is hilarious. for anyone with a dark sense of humor, you need to see this movie. it is the perfect blend of horror and comedy. the evil dead trilogy is the best trilogy in the history of moviemaking, and army of darkness is the perfect way to end it all. great acting(you rule bruce!), great one-liners and catch phrases, and and well, an all out great movie.HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!

The absolute best trilogy ever. Forget Star Wars, Evil Dead is a much deeper trilogy. Ok well not really. It does make me laugh though. These films have been focused on those who love B-movies and those who love horror and comedy alike. Army of Darkness is probably one of the best trilogy finales. Bruce Campbell is hilariouse as the good guy with the attitude. Placing him in medievil times makes it even better. More gags than ever and ridiculous as hell. I am an avid fan and highly recommend this horror comedy to anyone with a good since of humor and a love of horror.

The movie was okay. It scared me and made me nervous, but there were moments when it wasn't too realistic. Even though it's supposed to be fiction. I wish it was more scary.

Terrible movie. Hella goofy. Hella unrealistic. Dumb storyline. I can't believe this film was ever made.

This movie was the tightest movie. The animation and puppeteering was outstanding. Bruce Campbell is a great actor for the role.

This movie is the greatest comedy horror movie ever made. They combine cheesy horror with lots of slapstick comedy. There may not be much of a plot but it still keeps your attention. All together a good movie.

Usually the original is best; not this time. AOD is a great comedy starring Bruce Campbell.

Army of Darkness in my mind is more of a comedy than a horror flick. It is probably one of Sam Raimi's best films. Even though there is no real depth to the movie it is still considered to be one of the ultimate guy films.

Very corny. Funny and light humored for a "horror" movie. The actor was funny and had a cool attitude.

I don't really consider this a horror movie, but I liked it anyway. This movie was funny and entertaining. You might want to watch Evil Dead before this one to get the whole story.

I thought this movie wasn't a horror movie but more like a gory comedy movie. I liked the movie though. I gave this a 4, and everyone should watch it.

Definitely a film you either love or hate. It did not appeal to me. The storyline is unfocused. The main character is full of himself and not relatable. The special effects are laughable.

Sam Raimi did a terrific with Army of Darkness, the third installment of the Evil Dead series. This horror\comedy went for more of the slapstick funny jokes, which differed from its predecessors. The snappy dialogue by Bruce Campbell along with the visual effects makes this the best of the trilogy. Unlike most horror movies, where the bad guy returns from the dead, this one is based solely upon the stupidity of the good guy. This movie even had a decent plot that flowed well with all the events.

Excellent continuation of the Evil Dead series. Finally they got a decent budget to produce the film. With the special effects and Brice Campbell's sense of humor, I laughed my butt off. Anybody who's into funny horror movies should definitely check this one out.
