The latest from Disney is one of the best movies I've seen, and as a result, they have regained some of the faith that I had lost in them due to recent events. TOY STORY is a completely computer animated motion picture

One of the best of the computer aided animation films. A lot of big names lent their vocal talents to this well crafted cartoon. Likable characters abound.

It all looks rather fake, especially the human kids.

The most original story to come along in a children's movie in a generation and the CGI wizardry was awe inspiring in its time.  The toys-eye view was brilliantly played and I loved that they chose classic toys like Slinky, and toy soldiers as well as touches like having a Magic 8 Ball, all things that give a touchstone for older and younger generations to connect to while watching.  The characters were all hilarious and extremely well cast  with stellar voice actors like Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Jim Varney and Pixar regular John Ratzenberger.  My favourite movie memory as a parent was watching this one with my kids.

It looses one point for my nephew playing it out when it first came out and another for his younger brother who played it out again nearly six years later.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Tom Hanks voices Woody a toy Cowboy whos the favorite toy of Andy until he gets a toy Astronaut named Buzz Lightyear (Voiced by Tim Allen) for his birthday. Woody grows jealous of buzz and gets both him and buzz lost.

This is an absolute classic! If you haven't seen it, get out of your cave and see it now! I saw this when it first came out, and then I saw it again just to appreciate the visual aspects. I was the only 50 year old in a theater full of kids, but I was one of the kids by the time the film was done. The humor works on so many levels. Don Rickles as Potatohead is inpired casting. The sequel is also a winner, but I prefer the first. Sequels rarely exceed the original, you'll find.

By far, one of the best animated movies ever made. The characters are warm, loveable, and memorable. The story is heart-warming. Has a lot of cute, slapstick-type comedy to make it enjoyable for young children. But it is deep enough to touch an adult's heart. I was in my very early teens when I first saw it. Now, at the age of 20, it's just as close to my heart as it was then.

One of the best childrens films I've ever seen. My grandfather usually falls asleep in childs films, but me, grandad, and my nephew went to see it, and he didn't fall asleep. Even commented on how good it was. Still is now. Do not miss. They've made a Toy Story 2 which is just as enchanting and wonderful. Summary: ONE OF THE BEST CHILDRENS FILMS I'VE SEEN.

Very good original story done all with computers. I just loved this movie about toys that come to life when the humans are not around. Woody is a toy cowboy who is devoted to his Kid Andy. Woody is Andy's favorite toy until Buzz Lightyear comes and now Woody feels he has lost Andy. Woody wants to get rid of Buzz. this only backfires and both end up at Sids a boy who loves to destroy toys. Now they must work together to get away from Sid and back to Andy who will be moving away. This is a family movie all ages can enjoy. We all loved the movie and found it to be very funny and entertaining. There are some good actors providing the voices such as Tom Hanks and Tim Allen.

Very fun and original movie. Funny and even heart warming in some instances. Fun for the entire family. Not the best though. Not as good as The Goonies.

The only problem with "Toy Story" is that there are just non-stop complications that the characters run into, even when you know it'll be a happy ending. I've seen it too many times, and it tends to just kind of drag along. It's too depressing when you've watched it more than three or four times. Still, I'll give it credit for being groundbreaking, and some cool parts.

Thi is a great film. Wooy, a toy cowboy was Andy's favorite toy at first, then he gets Buzz Lightyear, a toy space ranger. and soon woody gets worried that he might be forgotten and tries to find a way to get rid of him. soon he ends up at Sid's house. Sid destroys toys. and soon Woody and Buzz become friends.

Toy Story was a disappointment to me. I was expecting such a great movie, but only got some of the stuff that I wanted, or was expecting. I was surprised to have notcied the actor's and actress's voices, and that was a record for me.

Fantastic computer graphics and storyline. Tom Hanks always seems to be at his best when it comes to children films. The actors voices are brilliant and the characters lovable. I love this film so much that my partner bought me TS1 & 2 on DVD for christmas!

I think Toy Story was really well done and silly. When I went to see the sequel in the theater, there wasn't one little kid in the audience. Nope, it was all teenagers!

Toy Story brought to life a child's imagination. The computer animation was entirely realistic. Down to the last shadow. Toy Story 2 was even better than this one

Toy Story was a creative masterpiece. It is a true achievement when adults and children can see a movie and enjoy it equally. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were wonderful providing the voices for the main characters. It was also good to see many of the toys of my youth (i.e. Mr Potato Head) come to life on the screen. If you have or don't have kids, check this movie out. It is funny and touching and you won't be disappointed.
