Benny Hinn

Benny is the real deal. Like him or not, God uses him and God anointed him! You who are bashing him might want to read up on your Bible about talking bad about God's anointed. Remember, he's still a human like the rest of us...

If I'm ever sick I'll call on the Elders of my church to anoint me with oil and pray the prayer of faith like the bible said to do. God help me if I'm ever in a six hour line to get in to see The Benny Hinn Show!! Benny Hinn needs to win an Academy Award for the great show he puts on. I feel so sorry for people who follow anybody just because they are on Christian television or because they can attract a large crowd of people.

At the end of Jesus life on earth and after hundreds of people following him for his miracles, the bible reports Jesus had a mere 120 faithful followers in an Upper Room waiting for the Holy Spirit to fill them. After the promise of the Holy Spirit came and filled them God took these 120 people without modern technology like radio, television, internet and cable and turned the World rightside up to spread the Good News of the Gospel which has survived mockers and evil haters to date. Jesus did not need a football stadium crowd of people or MegaChurch to do this, he only had 12 Disciples, 70, then 120 people in an Upper Room. This should tell all these preachers trying to get a MegaChurch and the fame it brings that little with God is much. Freak shows can draw a crowd as well as Rock stars who magnify the devil. Bet most megachurches are filled with few being real wheat since the bible said, it's a narrow way and few that find it.

Fake, fraud, money hungry greedy false prophet. Some day he will pay. It's people like Benny that give faith in Jesus Christ a bad name.

Benny Hinn preaches things that are not from God's word, they are from Benny's Word!!!! We are called to be Christ like in everything we do; Benny seems very far from that. I feel that if Christ were to come down to talk to Benny. I believe he would not talk, but he would tear up his house and his ministry; like the Temple that was turned into a market place. I attended his ministry crusade when I was in Singapore and I will have to admit there was so much played on emotions and money, it was sickening! Most of the night was building up the very large crowed into a roller coaster frenzy. (Where he could make anyone believe anything!) The preaching was sparse and his explanation of the women that touched Jesus’ cloak, was false. He amounted the healing to be because of her will; when in-fact it was because she had faith in Christ that HE could heal her! Then the statement; “who wants to be healed, who wills God to heal them!” Some may say that I'm too strong, but God's word say's we must test and approve those in authority over us. There is a difference between judging a person and seeing a false teacher. You have to name and shame them!!!! I'm not perfect by any means and have my failures to God. But Benny, I need not say any more. All we can do is pray that God would speak and convict his soul. (Updated 08/05/2011)

He belonged to Kathyrn Kulman's Ministry and got the idea to promote healing Crusades from her.
She had true stories and live testimonies with witnesses from a whole lot of healed people.

Kuhlman has documented healings in book from her healing Crusades. She also had documented letters and real healing proof from a team of certified doctors. Where are Benny's certified documented letters, it's fair to ask that he post them for all to see and this may put an end to the false accusations that he is just another Prosperity Pulpit Pimp.

The fact that the majority of people think he is a joke except for seriously sick and desperate people is something he and his fans seems blinded too.

I have been to two of Benny Hinn's healing crusades; here's what happens:

For hours you wait while music blasts (and I do mean blasts! They will not turn it down even when you ask). This can put people into a kind of altered state. It also is terrible for your hearing; it is as bad as any hard rock concert.

He has ushers coming around and psyching up people; they obviously are told to look for certain things with people. Let me give you an example in my own case. My back problems were especially bad at that time, and I couldn't sit in a regular chair, so I brought one of those lightweight adjustable garden chaise lounges; it could fully recline. Obviously I would have had to walk in because there are no wheels on it- you set it up to be stationary. Some of their staff obviously saw me, because I was in the area reserved for wheelchairs and the like. All of a sudden a woman walks up to me, takes me by the hand to get me up (painful) and proceeds to get me to run around the track. It's supposed to look to those watching as if I'd been healed from an inability to walk. In fact it was causing me great pain and I asked her to please stop this. I had not wanted to embarrass her at first- so I got up. I also didn't want to appear as someone who doubted the Lord. Well, she finally did stop and I managed to get back to my recliner.

Again, after hours- and the money collection- Hinn came on (same in both crusades). He almost never has anyone come on who is in search of healing- he waits until after he makes some pronouncement for people to come on who already believe themselves to be healed. This is pretty clever as you can slip anybody in, and he doesn't have to perform anything on stage that might not seem to take.

All right- what about those who are touched or pointed at and who fall backwards? And what about those slain in the spirit and those giggling fits? This I believe to be very real-very- but it is not born of God- it is supernatural, but demonic.

Folks, I saw things pretty close up- it is virtually impossible to fake people's being hurled backwards without some kind of device I've certainly not heard of.
I can also tell you that after the service when I went outside someone else who believed in the guy (a lay minister) touched me and I went down. It was a light touch and didn't touch any particular nerve. We had been in conversation and he had offered to help me. In no way did I expect this to happen, as I had been thoroughly disenchanted by the happenings inside.

Now, re the numerous people rolling on the stage drunk in the spirit- people -nowhere- and I mean nowhere in Scripture does such a condition exist. The Day of Pentecost talks of foreigners' hearing disciples speaking in their respective tongue and they wonder how this could be- it is suggested that they might be drunk (makes no sense- think about it); Peter answers that this isn't the case because it's too early in the
morning for any drinking to have occurred. THIS HAS NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with being drunk in the spirit- this is a fully man-made idea with absolutely no Scriptural support- as a matter of fact there is nothing to even suggest such an idea!

There were 3 girls lying on the stage, giggling throughout his performance. At the end I purposely watched them because I thought by that time that they perhaps were put up to acting. I saw them get up and leave and they did continue the acting drunk outside the building and towards their car. It was not staged.
Again THERE IS NOTHING GODLY ABOUT THIS.

I would like to mention here that I do believe in healings (I have been healed as has my precious little dog) and I do believe in the heavenly language. I must say again, here, however, that in the Day of Pentecost there was NO heavenly language manifested (an otherworldly unknown language to mortals)- there were only EARTHLY languages. The miracle was that each foreigner heard the message in his own tongue!

What I experienced at both of these
crusades was a headache from the ear-splitting music and cacophony. I even saw an argument between someone wanting healing and an usher. I also didn't even sense the kind of feeling some get at a multi-level meeting which can be a kind of pseudo-religion for sure! The whole atmosphere was most unpleasant. I had so wanted to believe that being there would help me- I thought that I'd give it another chance- went from CA to AZ for the second one.

BTW, he avoids interviews like the plague. My husband was supposed to have interviewed him- his handler was convinced we were genuine believers in his abilities (which we were at the time way back when) but he backed out.
It wasn't hard to believe because I have personal witness to faith healing; for those who are completely skeptical and think that the healing is merely one's mind or suggestion, then you'd have to explain the miracle healing of a baby or a pet- surely this couldn't be the case here.

He is a guest speaker on TBN's Praise-Spring-athon and repeats how he gave another Pastor monthly money and God has given it back to him ten-fold. That's great but thus far God has not told me to imitate Benny Hinn to get God to help me. I would not serve a God who I have to constantly pay a large sum of money to get him to help me. There are times when he moves on me to give and most of the time he pours out his grace on me everyday just for the asking.

Watching too much of this is depresssing.

Selling hope and healing is big business, another thing on my list that makes me want to vomit!

I don't have a problem with some parts of Benny Hinn's message because like Hinn I too believe that God speaks to his people through Scriptures, by the written words of Jesus, in our daily circumstances & life experiences. God also can use people to bring inspirational and uplifting words in a time of need. Today I watched Benny Hinn get as personal as I've ever seen him when he revealed how much it hurt him to be alone and go through a painful and costly divorce.
Hinn admitted to seeking another Pastor to pray for him and act as his Pastor. I agree that no one is above needing prayer and support. Hinn said he heard God speak to him to start sending this man 2,000 a month. I agree that God can put it on your heart to give to someone in need.
Hinn said he did not understand how he was going to give since Lawyer fees were half a million dollars but he was certain that God spoke to him to give this other Pastor $2,000 a month so he had to obey even though it was a struggle. Hinn said later after he did this that God blessed him for his obedience. A rich couple came into money and they paid off his lawyer fees. They are also noq giving him money on a monthly basis. I agree that God could have told this couple to do that for Benny Hinn. However, I don't agree that God then told Hinn to turn around an ask people to sow a 1,000 seed of expectation to do the same thing for them. The difference is that Benny Hinn told them God said it. I would have to have God personally drop it on my heart to give that kind of money to Hinn in this recession, just like Hinn personally heard from God others can personally hear also and not have Benny act as a go between (mediator). The Scriptures said Jesus is the one mediator between God and man.

Pastor Benny could get together with the other millionaire TV Evangelist and build some affordable housing units for the poor they have been taking from for so long. He can even pray for the sick at the Free Health Clinics while he is at it, since he feels this is his calling. This would help his image among the doubters a thousand percent.

I did not want to be dragged on here to defend Benny Hinn, however since no one has corrected The New Atheist comment below on Benny Hinn, I felt obliged to set the record straight, especially since there are agrees of people who were so willing to believe the worst when it comes to people who represent God. Benny Hinn never had his (ex)wife questioning what sick people said before hand in line at his Healing Revival meeting then via an ear receiver Hinn had their concerns and type of illness relayed back to him to make it look like he had fortune telling powers (the Gift of the Word of Knowledge)!! Get your facts right! That was Peter Popoff! You can Look it up on Wikipedia! I guess it's easy for atheist and other scoundrels to believe the worst when it comes to the things of God!

I went to a Hypnotist (not Benny Hinn) show, just for the hell of it I thought it would be fun. The Hypnotist asked for volunteers from the audience. I don't know if these people were faking or just flat out wasted from too much alcohol cuz next thing that happened was people were acting weird and crazy in unison at his suggestions. They say the easily influenced are susceptible to the power of suggestion by advertisements and Hypnotist. Is Benny Hinn a gifted Hypnotist and using weak minded Christians? Or, is it a Higher Power that comes over a few of these people that fall out after Benny prays for them? I know I risk sounding weird but I believe it could possibly be both. Unless you have seen people behave as if they're under the influence of demons do unnatural superordinary things you have no point of reference. I've seen some weird paranormal things happen in my life that would make the hairs on your head stand on edge. If anyone has traveled to countries were the Relgiion of Wchcraft, Voodoo and the Paranormal are normal you'll see things that will make your flesh crawl!!!! I've seen exorcisms where people with no acrobatic skills twist and turn like a gymnastic gold medalist. Sithering on the floor & jumping wildly with their bodies doing all kinds of acrobatic twist and turns. The scariest thing is their voices change into the most chilling evil sound with gutteral noices and deep crazed laughter. I've seen 6 big men attempt to hold down one 90 pound girl who was kicking their asses. No kidding, this is serious shit. At the name of Jesus the girl stopped forming a thick milk looking substance at the mouth while slithering on the floor. I no longer think Paranormal stuff is a joke. It's scary stuff! The Exorcist commanded the demon to come out in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and it worked. No exorcist that I have heard of has ever used the name of Buddah or Mohammed to see how that works on some crazy ass demon looking person. If there are any documented cases where any other Religious leader's name was successfully used in an exorcism I'm curious to know. Speaking of evil demon looking faces has
anyone checked out that scary looking picture they keep showing of Jared Loughner the guy that shot all those people in Arizona? Does that evil face look like a face for a Chainsaw Massacre Movie or what?

Personally, I always get this guy confused with the late English comedian Benny Hill.

Update 1/26/2011 on the Benny Hinn investigation by Sen. Grassley

This is an update for all you people who were waiting with anticipation to rejoice over Benny Hinn's downfall from the conclusion of Senator Grassley Senate investigation (first announced in 2007). Pastor Benny Hinn informed us on his show (on TBN) that he has been cleared of all charges and is sending his Ministry Partners letters to prove it. Praise the Lord he has been Exonerated (cleared) of any financial wrong doing.

Pastor Benny also said he and The Joyce Meyers Ministries were the ones who fully cooperated with full financial disclosures. God bless You Pastor Benny Hinn for being aboveboard and honest. Your supporters knew all along you would come out on top without any financial misconduct. I suppose all the haters were waiting for his downfall, to bad to disappoint you! No last laugh for you all. The words of St. Paul ring very true. If God be for you who can succeed against you? Bless Benny Hinn and long live his Ministry! He has been a blessing to the real body of Christ.
He is in not a perfect man and does not claim to be but he is a man being used by God to lift up the name of Jesus and give hope to the sick and hopeless.

The people that think a Prosperity Prayer Shawl will bring them prosperity are equal in mentality to superstitious people who keep a lucky charm rabbit's foot for good luck, if the rabbit was so lucky he would not have
lost his foot. Hinn teaches that Prosperity means blessings in all and every area of your life.

If a Prosperity Prayer Shawl is what your faith is in and not in the name of Jesus and the Power of God's Holy Spirit, this is no different than keeping a good luck charm. Wise Up, desperate Christians throw yourself at the mercy of God. Pray to him for free!! You do not have to spend fifty dollars on a Prosperity Prayer Shawl for God to help you! Too bad Hinn did not use the power from the Prayer shawl to save his marriage!

Hebrews 4: 16

Benny Hinn's wife (she is also a Christian) recently filed for a divorce. All of that power to heal and make people fall out (supposedly under the anointing) yet his wife still left him. I wonder if he should have spent more time praying for the healing of his marriage instead? They sure hushed up that episode of him coming out of a Hotel holding hands walking down the streets of Rome with fellow send in your money, guru Paula White. I thought the bible said "avoid the very appearance of evil?" That photograph said a thousand words. Do these people not have enough sense to know they are on Christian TV everyday world-wide? Can Benny at least wait for his divorce to become final? If the picture was a fake why haven't they sued the National Enquirer? For those putting Hinn on some kind of throne, he is only a man and she is a woman flawed enough to have been divorced like the rest of us little people. Someone cited that Benny Hinn gives hope to sick people. Is hope now for sale, or is it free? If you follow him get out your check book. It may cost you something if you do not understand faith, hope and love is freely given by God. According to the Christian bible faith, hope and love is a sign of the Holy Spirit working. Wish people would stop thinking there is a price tag on the Holy Spirit, to give you a healing. They scare a bunch of Christians who don't study their bibles by quoting the Malachi curse verse when Jesus gave willingly and freely. There is no mandate to tithe or be justified by keeping any Mosaic law anywhere in the Christian bible after Jesus died. Christians who know better believe in Grace and that Jesus came to fulfill (complete the law).

If any healing occurs at a Benny Hinn Convention it was faith and the name of Jesus not in the name of Benny Hinn. The worship of idols angers God according to the Christian belief. Do not make this man an idol. He is not Jesus the Christ. There are people who stand in line for up to six hours to get into his Conference. He should not be treated like a god. Can't you pray for a healing at home to the same God?

Examples of Scriptures taken out of context from various Prosperity Teachers & Television Ministers:

Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek (he represented Christ) before the law of Moses was given, therefore Christians must pay tithes.

FACT: Abraham gave a Voluntary one time tenth from the war in which God gave him the victory over 4 Pagan Kings. It was their stuff Abraham took after he won the war. Abraham believed that God gave him the victory because he was out-numbered by thousands yet still won. Out of gratitude to God he gave a voluntary tithe to Melchizedek but only once.

FACT: This ONE tithe from Abraham is not a good example of continually paying tithes from every increase all the time. God never commanded Abraham to pay this tenth. It was not a mandate to get the blessing. Abraham believed the promise of God. This is how he was justified and got the blessing - James 2:23-"And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: "Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith." He was even called the friend of God".

FACT: The Tithe law was commanded by Moses from God. The tithe was Food from crops grown on the Land God gave them. The Tithe in the Old Testament Malachi verse was food, not gold or silver. The tithe law was not commanded by God for Abraham or Jacob. Originally, God gave favor to Abraham and blessed him and Jacob Before they gave a voluntary one time tithe.

Abraham was also circumcised before the law. No Pastor ever commands that all male Christians be circumcised. Tithe teachers do not mention that Abraham was also circumcised before the law of Moses to enforce circumcision, like they do tithing. This is a gross inconsistency!

FACT: Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles was against Jews who were demanding Gentiles be circumcised or keeping the Old Covenant law for favor with God.
Galatians 3:24-"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith".

Paul viewed keeping the Law vs Grace as looking backward to law for favor. Which he felt was anti-Grace and insulting to the payment Jesus made on the Cross for believers. (Grace = Favor, unearned, undeserved an freely unconditionally given as a gift).
Galatians 3:3 "Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?"

Matthew 23:23 in the New Testament, Jesus placed mercy, honesty and justice before tithing but said to not neglect tithing either. This verse is misused to enforce Christian tithing . The problem is that they fail to understand that Jesus was talking to Jews still under the law of Moses. Until he died on the Cross to fulfill the law, the Old Covenant was still in place.

FACT: the New Covenant of Grace is the Dispensation of Grace, this came after the death of Jesus. This gift of Grace has no limitations. Jesus gives free Grace upon Grace for any need.
John 1:16 -"For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace".


Malachi 3 God said bring all the tithes into the Storehouse. God promised if they did this he would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there would not be room enough to store it (the blessing).

This Malachi chapter 3 text is the most misused text in the bible to support mandatory Christian tithing.

FACT: God was talking to Jews under the Law.
Pour out a blessing in various bible passages was a reference to rain. Rain caused the food and crops to grow in abundance. There would be so much food that there was not enough room to put it all in the storehouses. If God with-held the rain it resulted in a famine. A famine resulted in a death, poverty and lack. Tithing was FOOD that was put in the storehouses to feed the poor and Levite Priest. Priest from the lineage of Aaron did not own land like the other Tribes of Israel.

If I am mere novice to the bible and studied the bible in detail, surely these seasoned Leaders of Mega Churches should! One can also note many of them reference the Old Testament to reinforce tithing but ignore the New Testament instructions that everyone should give as they decide to in their own hearts- 2nd Corinthians 9:7. They should give cheerfully but it is called giving not paying. This teaching that Christians must pay God with money for a blessing to be poured out is heresy and misusing bible verses for profit. People who follow along without any questions or inquiry are blind robots who are getting what they deserve!

Is it right to praise people who send in tithe payments, while ignoring the payment made by Jesus on the Cross which is really why Grace (favor) is given to the Christian.

Romans 3:20 -"Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin."

People need to read up on their Bible. We are not to judge the world. God gives two distinct and different commands regarding our opinions of people. They are referred to as neighbors (non-believers, people in the world) and brothers (fellow disciples of Jesus Christ). We are not to judge the world (our neighbor). That is a sin and is left entirely to God. We are, however, to judge righteously our fellow brethren in Christ, to teach and correct each other, to edify eachother, and are told not to allow your brother to continue in his sin if you love him. It is commanded of by God that we being believers are to lift one another up and teach not to break Gods commands. Benny Hinn, being a brother in Christ, a believer, we are perfectly justified in judging him ACCORDING TO GODS WORD. Not by how we "feel" nor by how much we like or dislike him.

I have seen this man enough to rightly discern that he is a heretic. Once at a healing service he brought up a woman who was supposedly "nearly deaf" in both ears. She came forth and said that God had opened her ears in the service. Totally awesome. God does things like this everyday. Benny Hinn had the nerve to put his fingers in her ears and pray "in the spirit". Then he proceeded to spout this abomination: Your ears were beginning to open, but not all the way. I AM OPENING YOUR EARS FULLY. I. as in me. Not God. I guess God wasn't thorough in His healing. Pastor Benny had to assist. Blahgh.

I heard him utter three complete heresies in just a twenty minute span of teaching. First he was teaching from Ephesians and said " Im sorry to tell you saints but you have been wrongly taught. Jesus does NOT live in your heart. The last time I checked, He is still on the throne, at the right hand of the Father." Well if Pastor Benny would have FINISHED reading Ephesians he wouldn't have said such a lie. Ephesians 3:16-17 " That God would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith..." . Secondly he taught that The Holy Spirit has a will "all His own" and that the Spirit could have decided not to raise Jesus from the dead. WHAT?!? Wow. Talking about leading your flock astray as sheep to the slaughter. This was the king daddy of heresies. John 16:13 " Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall Hear, that He shall speak: and He will shew you things to come. He shall glorify Me, for he shall receive what is Mine(Jesus)." Now. Lets think a second. If Jesus is sending the Holy Spirit, and God sent Jesus, and the Spirit is to speak what God tells Him, and teach and glorify Jesus, how could He even remotely be able to do a will of His own and leave Jesus dead in the tomb? It is the dumbest thing I have ever heard a Christian say and this man is supposed to be feeding millions of his flock. It is abominable. Luke reports in Acts 2:24 "(Jesus), Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death; because IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE THAT HE SHOULD BE HOLDEN OF IT." God's word assures us that it is impossible Jesus not be raised from the grave. Read all about it in Acts ch2, which most people quote the famous verses of the day of Pentecost, meanwhile this little gem here goes unnoticed pertaining to God's will for the Christ and His promise to David.

My friends, I am not writing this to condemn Benny Hinn only God has that authority. I am simply telling you straight forward that as Christians we are to read our Bible. Find ourselves approved of our study. Rightly discern by the Word of God. My goodness. How many times did Paul write about "be not deceived". Almost every epistle. The Holy Spirit warned us through Paul that if anyone preach not this gospel of Jesus Christ even if he be an angel, let him be a curse! We are in a time of spiritual warfare. Satan is ravaging his way through God's field of wheat. Leading us astray by personalities on TV that appear spiritual but teach contrary to the Word. READ YOUR BIBLE. It is the only way to know if the person you like or your pastor for that matter is telling the truth. The very last warning Jesus Christ leaves us with in the entire Bible is Rev. ch 22 where He warns about not adding nor subtracting from the Word.

He hasn't run out of steam yet but God will expose him soon enough.

No one gets away with scheming forever!

Christians when God exposes a Wolf among us it is up to us to take heed and not make excuses.

Benny Hill or Benny Hinn? Benny Hill was a great comic, whereas Benny Hinn sucks at comedy. But you gotta give Hinn a tinge of credit for at least keeping his "sitcom" on the air for all these years. Hinn's another prick who needs to spend the remainder of his days behind bars. In the 1980's, professional skeptic, religious and psychic debunker Dr. James Randi attended one of Hinn's ministries and Randi brought along a wireless radio frequency detector. Randi was able to tune in and hear Hinn's wife giving instructions to her hubby, Benny, while on stage, of which audience member would be the next participant and briefing Benny on the person's background, etc. This is the same method that "psychics" use on stage.

I did not know he was still around, is he still wearing those custom made suits and being followed around by security guards?

He could not keep his marriage together yet many feel he has so much anointing and power. Just goes to show you no one is perfect or walks on water but Jesus who is God. Let's not forget that, or we may all suffer humiliation and embarrassment to be reminded of it when people we idolize fail us.

It's great that Benny Hinn believes God so much that he is promoting Jesus as a Healer but I pray God not only heals our bodies, but our relationships. There is far too much competition, divorce and materialism in the body of Christ.

Benny Hinn has also wrongly contributed to convincing people that sending in money to his Ministry can buy you a blessing from God. Of course if God tells you to but if He didn't then you shouldn't! I know people who no longer attend Church because they are ashamed because they can no longer tithe (due to a job loss). My question is, since they believed the lie that keeping one Jewish Tithe law guarantees a blessing from God then why do tithers even lose their jobs & homes in the first place?

Just like the Catholics you can't tell people who have internalized a falsehood anything!
The majority of Christians refuse to even read or believe Scriptures that contradict their tithe belief. Various Catholics also believe every single thing they are taught even if Bible Scriptures differ. Many of them are placing Mary (the mother of Jesus while He was on earth only) right there Equal to Jesus. This may irritate some, but Mary was God's servant, highly blessed, favored and used by God to bring Jesus into the world as The Lamb of God (blood sacrifice) and Bridge to God. Although he never stopped being the IAM (GOD). He had to have a human body to shed His pure, spotless blood as our sacrificial lamb, or we could not be Saved or enter Heaven. Mary is not Omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time like God is) if she is not present everywhere at the same time then she cannot hear each and every prayer simultaneously as Jesus does.

Sorry to break it to you, but your Hail Marys are going to the top of the ceiling and back. Some say she & the deceased Saints in Heaven answered their prayer and tithe payers believe their tithe payment is their ticket to a blessing from God but what does the Bible have to after Jesus died on the Cross??? The reality of it is this:
Jesus and His accomplishments is the cause of your blessings and ability to go to God in prayer and nothing else. God would not even look twice at us (Gentiles), if it were not for Jesus dying on that Cross! When are people going to discover that keeping Old Covenant laws,rituals & prayers to Mary (or Saints in Heaven) is not where your favor comes from? A rejection of Jesus as the sum total accomplishment of the Old Covenant law will cancel your blessings not add to them.
Who keeps paying a bill that has already been paid? The blood of Jesus is priceless. There is no amount of money in the world to pay God for that. Jesus went to the Cross for you to ask Him for your necessities. He promised it. God is not a mere man that he would lie.

Yes Moses parted the red sea but there are too many Nathans trying to bring his people back to Egypt and under bondage again. Wake up we are under grace and mercy..quit trying to hoard wealth and send in a check and watch what happens. Yes you have been pierced through with many sorrows but don't dispise his chastening..remember we have many chances unlike Esau..it wouldn't be mercy if we "deserved it."

The news came out this month that Benny Hinn's wife Suzanne Hinn filed for a divorce after 30yrs of marriage. I do not know all of the facts but would hope he makes some kind of public statement since he is a very high profile public figure in the Christian world. I truly believe God is allowing the pedal stools to come down so people can stop worshiping these TV Celebrity Preachers and making these people out to be some kind of Super Saint & gods. They have a following that has made them super rich beyond accountability and Fruit inspection. No one dares question or investigate anything about them or they are hit with the "touch not my anointed" verse. This verse was for the hand picked Bible Prophets that were proven to be men and women of God. I cannot judge this man and have no doubt that God has used him as a vessel of Hope and healing. I do not have a negative view of what Benny Hinn believes in as it pertains to healing. God can and does still work miracles of healing, whether it is a Medical Doctor (Physician) or the prayers of the faithful.

If I were seriously ill, I do not believe I'd stand in a six hour line to get into a Benny Hinn Crusade like some are doing now. At least, I pray it would not come to that because of sheer desperation. I would consult a Physician but also I would first do as instructed by James in the Bible:

James Chapter 5
5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. If God does not heal our bodies on earth we will be 100% healed and perfected in Heaven and will know the reason why we suffered when we get to Heaven. I am sure God will make it up to us. Only He sees everything with perfect 100% vision.

God will heal every last one of His children. You read it right, every single one. The only question is where will He heal them. On Earth or in Heaven? It might just be our time to finally go home (Heaven) and be with our Lord. If we have lived a full and long life, is that so bad? When we get there the beauty of our Lord and the entire place will be so awesome and indescribable with certainty I can say we will all wonder why we fought so hard to prolong being there in the first place. God made us to live forever until the sin of Adam bought physical disease and death.

This whole earth is affected by the sin and fall of Adam. It is humbling and shocking to realize that our life is like a vapor according to the Bible. There is so much cruelty and suffering in this world that a strong dose of hope and encouragement is needed. People can study the promises of Jesus in the Bible. He promises to be with us till the end.

Benny Hinn is bold enough to step out their on the promises that Jesus Christ who Healed when He lived among us on earth is the same yesterday, today and forever. This is a message that provides hope and comfort. Don't confuse the message (From Jesus) with the Messenger (Benny Hinn). One can't help but wonder where all the money is going that is (voluntarily) given.
What happens when people leave his Crusades just as a bad off when they went in?

Another major question is, has Benny Hinn allowed the Christian world to make him an idol? Is he getting puffed up? He would have to be strong and really Spirit-filled on a daily basis to NOT let all the fame, attention and notoriety build up his ego. Is he feeling more privileged, high and lifted up? If the answer is yes, then surely he will come toppling down off his high horse. God is protective of his Glory and jealous over his people. He will not allow the babysitter to steal His children or let them take His rightful in their hearts away.

According to Scripture God has given everyone of His children in the body of Christ a Spiritual Gift/s. Healing and working of Miracles were listed among those gifts in the New Testament as available for use in the body of Christ. The only Super Star should be Jesus Christ. Every member of the body of Christ has been gifted by our Lord in some area and has value & worth. Benny Hinn is one among many. There are Christian Churches all over the world that have cases of people being healed in the Name of Jesus, but have not gotten the press or been on national Television.
I was in a Church where a lady was prayed for and her brain tumor disappeared. The difference was that the Lights and Camera were not present and since the lady attended our Church she came back with Medical documentation as proof of her healing! Not a fan of Benny Hinn . Was at his crusade in Ottawa , I watched a crippled man desperately and with all faith try to get out of his chair , but, to no avail. Not impressed they did not acknowledge that man . The praise and worship was great . The lord inhabits the praise of his people. BIBLICAL not an ACCIDENT!!

I have been in several reunion with benny hinn , one thing I can said is I felt the holy spirit in his meeting like i have never felt it before.
I like his teachings .I`m not sure about some decitions he had made in the past, or if he should spend so much or not. But I cant judge him, Because i cant see his hart, But God cant.
What i can see is that he preach the gospel and people are getting save all around the world, souls and souls I think that is what it is really important.

I do think God wants to give you spiritual and materials blessings, I give thanks for my corolla, and my house, What I think is how much people could it be feed ? or how many souls could you reach ,or help with the money for a rolex or a mercedes.
It is very dangerous when we get to that point that you have to much, and you need to be careful not to love those things more than the gospel.
Since I dont know his heart, I cant judge him, I know when I have donated money I always pray and put it in jesus hands, and there ends my respondsability with it ,then is benny`s and God will judge him.
I love benny very much and pray for him, and his ministry. That he will finish the race and finish good.

I also think in the price , I dont think is fun to travel as much as he does, and leave your family and children behind , no be able to been with them and watch them grow.It must be really hard for a men to see his children going to hard situacion like the drug problems and you are out there preaching.

I believe God still works through many Christians to whom He has given these very special gifts -- yes, even to this day, and not just the first century. But I also understand that this is a very delicate issue, and sadly, Benny Hinn (and other similar people) are some of the reason why this matter (or Christianity, in general) isn't taken very seriously by onlookers. And there are other fellow Christians that discredit the entire Pentecostal realm because of a few who may be misusing Spiritual gifts. He doesn't preach the gospel, encourages decisionism, has been exposed (by HBO) for charging a family money to pray for them, has been exposed as falsifying testimonies of healing, and has supposedly repented for lying many times only to return to embracing the lie he repented for telling.

This servant of a familiar spirit once told an audience during one of his crusades to set up a fund for a partially blind 8-year boy that had come up on stage.  When he announced this, you could just hear the pleasured moanings of the crowd, which no doubt cause them to reach down deep into their pockets when the collection plate came around for perhaps the 50th time.  This was a couple years ago and the family of the boy stated during interview that Hinn has sent NOTHING since his promise.  For he only did it to entice the crowd to give more than they normally would because of this supposedly act of christian charity.  I cannot judge who is going to damnation or eternal life, but unless Hinn repents of his wickedness, there will be quite a collection of charges to answer to God for.  NEVER, NEVER send this huckster or any of those TV preachers your hard-earned money.  Find a homeless shelter, battered woman's shelter, orphanage, or other needy charity.  These con men will try and tell you that you are disobeying God by not sending to their ministry as "He" told them to tell you.  Any "voice" telling these wicked men/women to say believers are being disobedient to God by  not giving to their ministries, is not a voice from our Lord.  They very well may be hearing a voice, but of a familiar spirit.  God would probably be much more pleased if you would donate your money to the sick, poor, homeless, orphans, or abused women/children in lieu of filling the coffers of these wicked TV preachers and making them rich.  Hinn only cares about Hinn!  They may all have begun honestly and had a true fire for God, but the lure of riches corrupted them.  Even so, come Lord Jesus.
