Gilbert is the voice of the AFLAC duck and the parrot in the Aladin Disney movies. Please do not make the mistake of seeing Gilbert live and catching a family friendly show. Its not going to happen as Gilbert is one of the nastiest and dirtiest comics out there. He is very funny but I would hate to thing any one would thing his material is for the Disney crowd.

sure, on the surface annying voice, but some of the greatest comedians have odd voices. not only is he the most underrated impersonator ever, but pretty consistantly funny. My favorite bits are the Land of the One-Name people, and the one about Moby Dick (size of LaGuardia Airport) bites off the leg of Captain Ahab (size of a rice crispie)...I guess he wasn't that hungry that day.

If you can get past his qvetchy voice (Who better to play the voicy of Iago the Parrot in Aladdin), the man has one of the funniest comedy routines around. No one in the universe does a better Seinfeld impersonation than Gottfried (Why does everyone drink water. Whooo arrrrre these people?) I saw him at a club in San Francisco a dozen years ago. We were with a girl from Germany (tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, very pretty). In the middle of his routine, Gilbert goes, So I see Hitler walking down the street. I try to catch up to talk to him and he's running away from me. I told Churchill and Stalin and they said, 'the nerve of him.' The look on the German girl's face, of shock, disgust, and aghast, was priceless. Love you Gilbert.

This guy grates on my every last nerve! I absolutely can not stand this man, even the sight of him makes me want to either switch off the movie or leave the room. The nasally squawk of his voice just makes my stomach flip.

He could very well be very funny, but it's hard to get past his voice. It actually hurts to hear his voice, and i know he's probably not doing it on purpose or anything, but it's hard to get past that. If you can get past the voice, then more power to you!

The voice is rather annoying, but he's the only one that can usually make me want to watch Hollywood Squares.

Certainly his voice is obnoxious, but I still have to give him credit for his JOKES. I mean, am I missing some new form of criticism, or are comedians still supposed to be rated by how FUNNY they are? His special on Comedy Central was pretty funny.

I know it's cruel to laugh at people with illnesses, so I won't. Actually, there is no remote danger of that happening in this case because this little mutant has never even gotten so much as a chuckle from me. Can a human being possibly be more irritating than Gilbert Gottfried? His voice could be used to torture confessions out of career criminals. It is kind of funny to imagine, had he followed logic and not gone into show business, what career choice might he have made? Somehow I have no trouble picturing him as either a lawyer of the ambulance chasing variety, a sleaze-bag used car salesman, or your worst high school teacher nightmare.

I don't even listen to what this guy ever says because all I can think is how incredibly annoying his voice is. I can't stand how is constantly yells. He is the voice of the parrot in the Disney 'Aladin' and some of the lines were funny but again, it is the voice in which the lines are said that make me cringe.

This guy is funny for about five minutes, maximum. Then he gets annoying. Really annoying.
