 | siddfinch (0) 12/01/2004 | I saw this concert in '96 (w/ lead singer Dennis De Young), and recently in '04 (w/out).
They still play decently, but the '04 concert is also a cumbersome exercise in which the current band members try to downplay the absence of DeYoung (who was left off the band against his will) while cashing in on his memorable achievements.
The '04 Styx is more like a natural opening act.

 | Duraniersmith (0) 04/02/2001 | Styx is absolutely amazing. I've never seen them live in concert...I'd probably have a heart attack if I did. Afterall, I was just a little kid when they were popular in the 80s. It doesn't matter, though. They still rock! Their songs are excellent and their performances are electrifying.

 | rhoda (0) 10/01/2000 | My favorite band as a teenager. I've seen their concerts in Poughkeepsie, NY and Little Rock, AR. They've got a great message and cool tunes. Go Dennis, you're still hot!

 | WGRe7468om (0) 06/17/2000 | The first concert I ever saw back in 1980-81. For nostalgia, I would see them again.

 | Shafty (2) 04/08/2000 | They're back!!?? Will they perform the 'rock opera' for Kilroy Was Here, which pretty much condemned them to their rock coffin in the early 80's? Another group of old men running around on stage just in case the soccial security fund dries up before they are eligible to collect.
