Very beautiful woman who can act, sing, dance, write books, and is a great comedian. I would love to have so much talent.

Always loved her talents. She seems like a really nice person too. Since she lost her singing voice, she's been writing children's books. Yet another talent!

She is precisely....my cup of tea!! LOVE JULIE because of her great talents and think she must be a lovely person. Just saw her in Unconditional Love (on tape & DVD) and it was magnificent!! I am a big fan.

My heart and mind contain a great amount of empathy for this talented actor/singer. While having surgery for her throat they botched it and now she will never sing like she used to. She sued and was successful with her lawsuit. Her work has entertained countless children, including myself as a child. I am now 18 and plan on letting my children watch her wholesome movie roles in Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and The Princess Diaries. What a gift to show business!

She's OK but old and she always gets parts in corny musicals. Not all about her is bad, but she's past her prime-it's time to retire.

She has it all: talents in singing, acting, dancing - you name it. Recently she's been narrating the PBS series Broadway and is a class act. The last movie I saw her in was Unconditional Love and she was great. We all know her classic movies and they have already been praised by others on this board.

The epitome of beauty, grace, class, style, talent, poise, and an incredible presence...Julie Andrews is one of a kind and if I ever have the honor of meeting her, it will be my privlege to tell her so. She is an icon of an era sadly gone by.

She has got an amazing woice, she was what made The Sound of Music so great. She was great in Mary Poppins, which she also won best actress for it. She is talented in many areas as she can sing, dance, and act really well.

A classic favourite. She's so elegant and refine, but she's also funny and sweet. Good in the Sound of Music, awesome in The Princess Diaries.

One of the great disappointments in my moviegoing life is that Ms. Andrews didn't get the My Fair Lady role. The movie would have been a classic, as she would have nailed the cockney accent required, plus do her own singing. I loved her acting in Duet for One. In fact, her acting in so-so movies made the experience worthwhile, otherwise. A couple examples, are: Darling Lili and Star.

Her best was Victor Victoria but recently I watched Mary Poppins and she totally nailed that role which would of been damned hard. People said it was NOT acting but that's why she is brilliant in it as she makes it looks so natural ! The Sound Of Music was her 'Opus' in many ways but nodody could have pulled it off like she did (maybe Debbie Reynolds?, maybe NOT?) SOB was an embarrasment as was The Tamarind Seed, 10 and Torn Curtain but none of them were her fault. Still looks good but has had some 'work done' which is OK at 70....Still a class act and one can only wonder at how great she would have been in 'My Fair Lady' for which she ould have also won Best Actress surely.....

I think i would really give her a four and one half. I have seen in her in many movies musical, comedy and drama and she is good at all of them. With her beautiful singing voice I especially like seeing her in musicals. She was the perfect Mary Poppins, and Maria. I thought she was really funny in Victor\Victoria.

As a singer she had an amazing voice. As an actress? Well, they better not make a Princess Diaries III. She had some iconic roles 30 years ago but that was 30 years ago.

She's a great actress. Julie Andrews inspires children, for example, in the Princess Diaries movies and in Mary Poppins, and yet she inspires adults as well, like in The Sound of Music.

Obviosly, everyone has seen Sound of Music. It is just that kind of movie, where when you say the name, no matter who you say it to, they know exactly what you are talking about. She is a good actress, and I actually like her. She was a good singer, but she can't do that anymore..oh, well!

Julie Andrews is cool as hell! My mother is her #1 fan. She is a great actress and had a beautiful singing voice. It's a shame that it didn't come back the way it should have after her surgery. But she can still act! Have you seen her recently in Shrek 2 as the Queen? She was great. LOL, It's so wonderful to have the family together for dinner! as Shrek and the King are arguing.

She is without a doubt one of the most talented entertainers of all time. She can sing, she can act, and looks at least 15 years younger than what she truly is. Superb.

Julie is one of the best all-around talented performers in the business. She's a great actress, singer, comdienne - she can do it all - and has been great in films, TV, Broadway. Very few people have that much versatility. She appears to ge a great lady too.

Who doesn't love her? I mean, she's got one hell of a voice and she's a great actress! My mom saw her in person, and man, was she cool! That sounded kinda corny, but oh well. She was a great Mary Poppins, and I was a Sound of Music Addict. She's also classy and has real charm. <3 I know there's a gazillion peeps ready to jump on my case, but I just love her!

Who doesn't like Mary Poppins or Maria from "The Sound of Music?" (Okay bad question since I'm sure there's someone out there ready to jump all over that one.) Julie Andrews is undeniably talented - good actress, excellent voice (unfortunately now lost), bright, cheery face, flawless complexion. The only thing I didn't like about her when I saw her in films growing up was her funky short red hair - too flat, too blah. One of her most outstanding traits is that she has the ability to come off wholesome regardless of her role. I'm not sure if that doesn't annoy me more at times than it impresses me but I'm sure it depends on my mood.
