 | straightbygolly (0) 03/10/2004 | Your segment on gay marriage made me want to vomit. You are promoting same sex marriage and the concept of a gay lifestyle by continuing to talk about it. Give the heterosexuals a break. Let the gays stay in the closet. We all know who they are anyway. I will continue to pray for our President that he will enforce the laws the gays who marry are blatantly breaking.

 | Becky222 (0) 05/31/2001 | More of the same mindcontrol propganda. Now for all the ill read ignoramuses that believe this show is news, you now have 120 minutes of entertainment and you think this stuff is real. It is real - real nonsense.

 | Mack4444 (0) 04/22/2001 | The 60 Minutes II piece on the Columbine school shooting was very informative yet very disturbing. To realize that in effect the police was unable or unwilling to do their job is not a good portyal of the mantra "To Protect & Serve"
They left those children to the dictates of the killings all because of procedure and a lack of common sense in protecting the children.
While I respect he job most law enforcement officers do each day, this did not provide proof that they are always working in the best interests of citizens. The most disturbing portion of this piece was the fact that a reason for not going directly to assist the children in the school was because of a desire for the safety of the officers.
Good piece!

 | Ford (0) 04/06/2001 | April 3rd program- Shock treatments good for you-
Who are you trying to kid, anyway? Any amature can see that shock treatments cause damage. Masklike expression, flatness of affect, psychomotor retardation, brain tumors, impotence and even death are results of electro-convulsive therapy.
So far, the national institute for mental health has refused to investigate suspicions that ECT has been a factor in the growing number of Alzheimers cases. The procedure is known to create absent-mindedness that is permanent rather than temporary.
A reasonable conclusion is that Electro-convulsive Therapy is a present day crime against humanity.

 | callmetootie (5) 04/05/2001 | 60 Minutes 2 is watchable, unlike the plain old 60 minutes. Here, they at least talk about other subjects like movies, presiidents, murderers, and how books are and music and stuff like that. They are pretty boring, as they are in 60 minutes, but they at least try harder here.

 | fujiin (0) 01/31/2001 | I watched the program last night on "snipers in the police force". I was in total amazement that they let morons like the one in Albuquerque even have a rifle. Three shots for a kill? He obviously did not understand his weapon and was very poorly trained. The police have no business with people like that as snipers. I speak from experience as I was a sniper in Viet Nam. People like him give snipers a bad name and reputation.
I damn sure would not want him trying to save my life!!!

 | shelleyjohn (0) 12/05/2000 | December 5th program... I just watched your segment on the philanthropy of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gates. Sadly our government and the media have demonized this man for being a success and generating not only his own wealth, but creating dozens of millionaires. It was so nice to see a network stop turning him into a villian and show the genorosity and purity of their hearts. They donate over twenty million dollars a week. And with each check, they spread joy and hope to those less fortunate. Wealth is wasted if not shared with those who will be thankful. Gratitude is essential.
