Even as a kid I enjoyed this show. And as an adult I'm looking for it on dvd.

Sort of a Barney Miller type show re-tread without the great cast and humor. Harry Anderson was tiresome to watch. Most of the acting was too over the top. Marsha Warfield was the only actor I enjoyed. My son loved this show when he was about 12 years old.

I kept laughing out loud. And Markie Post was definitely drool-worthy.

Liked the show alot. I especially loved Dan's attempts to try to date Christine, but she kept refusing them, because he was a jerk.Bull was another favorite charecter of mine, on the show.

Hilarious show, even if it was sort of over the top at times. While really only a minor character, Bull was one of the best sticom characters of all time.

Great 80's and early 90's television show with the help of John Larroquette.

Though not a horrible television series, I could never get into "Night Court". The comedy on this show always was a bit too slapstick and silly for my tastes, and the writers seemed to just run one-liners from beginning to end. This is a bit of a shame since I generally like Harry Anderson (Judge Stone) and John Larroquette (Dan Fielding) had his best work on the series. In addition, Markie Post (Christine Sullivan) was solid as well. The rest of the cast were just filler in my opinion. The bottom line is that I can appreciate this type of humor in doses, but it has to be built on a foundation of something more cerebral.

Funny at times, but I wondered why the hell I'm watching it other times. 3 and a half stars for a good show that I couldn't always get into.

I actually appreciated the ridiculous humor. Also, you didn't have to think too much while you watched...unlike the current dramedies which have a deep story line to keep up with (i.e. Friends).

This was a very comedy show and it was so full of humor that Bull just made me crack up at every stupid silly stunt he ever did! Harry Anderson to me was the nicest of the whole bunch but to me I think it was Bull who made the show the way it turned out to be! I dond't remember a whole lot of the show because it was one of the few shows I remember watching as a kid, although I will never forget Bull and also the every funny always emmy winning JOHN LARAQUETTE! I loved his funny faces routines! What a man!

If you found yourself bored, with only a few options as far as programming, then choose this one. Not that it was a horrible show, it just lacked the type of appeal that would make me have chosen it otherwise. Once I would start watching it I enjoyed it, I just never would have chosen it every week.

An absolute classic! This show was perfectly cast. Dan Fielding will go down as one of the most memorable characters in TV sitcom history. And how could you not love Markie Post as Christine. Those incredible legs and perfect pair of... well you know. I cannot wait until the season sets arrive on DVD. Warner Bros needs to get off their lazy butts and release them already.

I'm another who was too young to watch the show during its original run- Vive A&E! Yes, the show could be cheesy. Really, really cheesy. And maybe the end wasn't great. But it has never failed to make me laugh. This show has brought on some absolutely classic comedy. John Larroquette deserves his Emmys for Dan Fielding, because not only was he the best actor on the show, he is one of the greatest television actors of all time, up there with the M*A*S*H and West Wing gang. Larroquette was absolutely brilliant in this role.

Night Court is really, really cute, but it's on the wrong channel for reruns. I would rather see it off the air, then on this stupid A and E station. Please Mr. Moll, take it off!

So much of my childhood is linked with Night Court. One of the major influences over my sense of humer. Oh, inspiration for a life-long love of joy buzzers and x-ray glasses. Oh, origin of a life-long dislike of Barry Manilow. If it's a crime to love this classic 80's fare, I'm guilty.... That'll be $50 and time served! Long live A&E, bringer of Night Court!

I was too young to truly appreciate "Night Court" during its original run -- but I've gotten hooked on reruns on A&E. The writing on this show was exceptional, as was the acting, esp. by Larroquette, who deserved his 4 Emmys! "Night Court" frequently crossed the line of crude & lewd in a way you didn't (or weren't allowed to) see on other network sitcoms...but it WAS funny, and that's why it lasted so long, despite all the cast changes.

I loved this show as a kid, then as a teen, and now as an adult. I have to say, they did get a little sloppy the year Phil died and Dan had to open up the "Phil Foundation". Though when you lookat classic episodes like "Beepo the Clown" flashback episode, or when Christine has her baby, you can't HELP but laugh yourself silly. Bull and his OOOKAY, Mac with his Oh my dear Lord...and Harry saying What the Hell every episode....you just gotta love it!!!

I think the only reason I used to watch this show was because it was after Cheers on Thursday nights. I've never really watched it in reruns and John Laroquette, while funny, was never really believable as a womanizer.
