ugh - 1 of my most hated shows

Typically unrealistic and idiotic sit-com of the era, that somehow manages to be even worse than all the rest.

It's quite possible that "The Brady Bunch" might be the worst sitcom to have lasted longer than a season. I just don't understand how anyone can really watch something that cheesy.

I couldn't even get into it back then.To call it corny would be a compliment.

I read somewhere that some of the cast members said that they thought the show was sappy, and although some people think that the show had retarded storylines, I watch the reruns sometimes, and I like it.

It was so corny and cheesy, which is why I enjoyed watching it once in a while.

Growing up with the Brady Bunch is like growing up wishing my sisiter (by marriage only) looked like Marsha.

How could anyone grow up without this show?

  Great kids show. Wholesome and gave life lessons like Leave it to Beaver did for a much earlier generation. I must admit it was a struggle to watch it with my kids when they were small but it wasn't offensive. Good for taking a snooze on the couch while the kids watched. Marsha and Jan were cute but Florence Henderson got my attention. I agree the show belongs more to the 70's than the earlier decade. Lightweight sit-com.

Another stupid show from the 60's but for some reason.....I will watch it. I do watch others more though.

I used to love this show alot, but i got sick of it after awhile. Too much airplay! I seen a overdub video of the show on Youtube that was funny.  Bobby, and Cindy killed themselves because they could not go to a beheading. The video has been since deleted, but it is still around the web.

One of the most annoying shows ever and now I've got that annoying song stuck in my head again.

Oh My G-d Fantastic! I loved the Brady Bunch, who didn't? They were just the greatest family, who didn't want to be a Brady honestly at that time, they were all so cute. At that age, I think Marcia had that cool look, and Greg, was pretty cool, I loved that t.v. mom, and t.v. dad, and with Alice the maid, didn't we all want homes with orange countertops the way they had it in the Brady Bunch?

absolutely hated the way they represented the times. so false in inventing their own pop-culture. johnny bravo? the brady singers? bull. i would visit my girlfriend's house as a teen and her grade-school brothers and sisters would be watching this totally false representation - a regurgitated slice of american apple pie.

Not even worth one star in my opinion. This is as cheezy as it can possibly get.

Losing some points for this list because in my opinion "The Brady Bunch" was more of a 1970's rather than a 1960's television series, the fact that this show has become a part of the common American experience can't really be disputed. As a family show, the plotlines were clearly non-confrontational and benign, yet still often relevant to children and young adults today. Rumor has it that Robert Reed (Mr. Brady) hated a good number of the scripts (eventually being written out of some, including the final episode), claiming that they were unrealistic. Perhaps, but true realism and grit wasn't what the producers were shooting for and this relative innocence was key to the series' lasting charm. The bottom line is that, notwithstanding the classic "add-a-kid" cousin Oliver, a cultural icon like "The Brady Bunch" deserves at least four stars, but only as a 70's show.

Marsha was hot. Jan grew up and got hotter.

The most dumbest show ever who walks around and says hey gang lets be gay how stupid is that.

I have to admit I seen them all.......It is still interesting to watch if you would like to know about the clothing styles of the day....that is were the true laughter can be found.

This was the last of the 1960's family fun comedies with two single parents, each with three kids, getting married and the resulting bedlam was the show. It was all good clean fun.

I always wanted to bitch slap marcia, and take away Jan's innocence. Jan was the alluring one, not Marcia or Carol man.

Corny, idiotic

One of the all-time classic and great shows, I must have seen every episode at least 5 times. It also helped that Marcia and Jan became hot as they got older. Interesting it's listed here as a '60s show, it started in 1969 and I always think of it as a '70s show. Season 1 is finally coming on DVD March 1st!!!

35 years after the pilot, the show is still going strong. Marcia in a minidress is truly hard to surpass.

the brady bunch is a family classic that always has a carefree attitude and makes us bring it back every few years. It will keep on going forever!

An alright show, although I laughed AT it more than with it.

Good but unrealistic show. Not really meant to be taken seriously. One annoying aspect was they tried to keep Cindy Brady (Susan Olson) cute even in her older awkward years, which made her appear somewhat retarded.

I grew up watching the reruns of Brady Brunch in the 80's..This show is very cookie cutter but for purely nostalgic reasons gets 4 stars....They jumped the shark when they added little Oliver to the pack

I loved Jan!

Having grown up in a family of 3 boys, 3 girls, I find this show hilarious on a personal level. The sibling rivalry and chaos of the large Brady family is true in some situations except in my household those groovy outfits were more like grass-stained blue jeans and '60's tank tops. The show is a throwback to simpler, safer times and perhaps that is why the show is still a hit among new generations. The Brady Bunch is a fun, entertaining show that can be watched by all ages. By the way, in my real life situation, I would be Jan. Oh, that poor middle sister.

This is a cute show and it always shows a lesson in every episode. I always thought Marsha Brady was so pretty!

I think the show is very unrealistic in many aspects, however tv and movies are not always meant to be realistic. When the Brady Bunch was originally on the air, I wasn't alive yet. But to this day, I enjoy watching the reruns over and over again. I love this show and I also love the movies they came out with starring Shelley Long. She does a great Florence Henderson ! A great show for the whole family....HIGHLY recommended...

Unrealistic yes, but I started watching The Brady Bunch just as it went into reruns.I mean I wanted to be part of that family,they had a cool house for that time, lived in So Calif, and were all popular in school, well except poor Jan. The 1st season sucked, it got better as the kids got in their teens and Marcia kept getting cuter and cuter.
