Duke Nukem 3D 5

The classic shooter. Gore splattered action with a good sense of humor.

Duke Nukem 3D 3

I played this at my cousins and didn't like it. The graphics now are just plain garbage.

Duke Nukem 3D 5

The game that introduced me to first-person shooters, and level-making (now called modding.) Still waiting for Duke Nukem Forever, but I'm not holding my breath, either...

Duke Nukem 3D 5

It took me a while to get into Duke Nukem because by now I was a responsible adult earning money in the real world so had less time to indulge in the artificial world of PC gaming. DN3D borrowed the Doom engine to produce a more tongue in cheek hero (Duke) who had an extended arsenal and a few comical quipps. The cartoon like atmousphere had a more amusing take on the depressing loneliness of the Doom world and gave a much lighter hearted play. It wasn't until I discovered the delights of online gaming when this really took off, for the first time I was making friends I had never met, winning games I didn't need shorts for then going to bed bleary eyed at 3am taking with me flash backs of shotgun hugging pigs and scantily clad lap dancers "Shake it Baby".

Duke Nukem 3D 4

Its very fun despite being outdated. It was the only good Duke Nukem thatI've played. The graphics aren't the best, but the game is years aged.

Duke Nukem 3D 5

so doom maybe started all of this but this game took the FPS games one step forward. it created an amazingly detailed envoirnament, with alot of gimmics like security cameras, sewers, swimming, jumping and flying and interactive envoirnament. a game that deserve to be remembered.

Duke Nukem 3D 5

This game is just plain fun. Duke Nukem is a well-deserved critique on society. The game incorporates sex, violence, and bad language in an incredibly fun fashion. It goes right up there with Doom. The weapons are incredibly fun and clever, and Duke is funny. The man who gave Duke his voice got an award for his work, and rightfully so. Duke's witty remarks are perfectly timed and perfectly funny. The actual game is fun. You blast your way through an alien-ravaged L.A., through banks, casinos, strip clubs, comic shops, restaurants, theaters, hotels, and other urban locales. It is a fun, colorful. It is like playing a racy comic book.

Duke Nukem 3D 4

Duke Nukem 3D incorporates 3D gameplay, good graphics, and a score of sex, violence, and weapons. What more could one want! It loses points because 3D games are redundant no matter what bells and whistles are incorporated.

Duke Nukem 3D 5

DN3D is one of the games that put this genre on the map, the other being the weaker Doom series. Duke gets the edge due to its more creative level design, along with its toungue-in-cheek attitude about the preceedings. Our hero Duke Nukem provides a hilarious running commentary as you play, and is provided with more creative weapons with which to dispatch his foes. The levels also really lend themselves to multiplay, which is a must if you really wish to explore the fun this game has to offer. Historically speaking, the greatest FPS game, and indeed one of the greatest computer games in general, ever created.

Duke Nukem 3D 4

A game that has the '3-D' play control but is also equipped with the bad puns and male chauvinistic comments that just make you laugh. Best played in large groups (local network, BBs, some form of multiplayer console). Some of the comments come from "Evil Dead" and knowing the movie enhances the game.
