Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow 1

If you are thinking of buying a Sobakawa pillow, DON'T BUY IT FROM THE COMPANY directly ! I ordered mine 3 months ago and still haven't received it. They have given me every conceivable excuse. They finally charged my bank card YESTERDAY, overdrawing my account. Sobakawa pillow company sold my information to a 3rd party marketing company which actually held up shipping of my order to call me probably a dozen times before I finally answered the call from a number I didn't recognize. They tried to sell me a program in which I would receive $100 in "Free" gas coupons. These people had my address, phone number, and the last 4 digits of my credit card! It was when they tried to get me to read them the rest of the card number that I knew for sure they were trying to rip me off. I refused to give it to them and they had the nerve to ask me for a different card ! Sobakawa pillow company is dishonest in their business practices. I can't even tell you about the quality of the product, as I have never received it - they told me it would be 6-10 weeks shipping several times. It's now November 13th, 2010. I'll update you next year.

These pillows were once very popular and easy to find, now they are next to impossible to find.
Thanks to Amazon.com I was able to find and purchase at a reasonable price!
These pillows are amazing!
Great for neck, back or leg pain!
Also great for headaches, migraines, or overheating, because it can be put in the fridge/freezer for a cold pack.
Use while sleeping or laying flat, and also while watching tv, working on the computer or even driving!
Puts those new memory foam pillows to shame.
Just buy it and see!

Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow 4

I love my pillow so much that my wife wanted one. The only problem with the new one is that there is a bit of a break-in period...at first, it feels as if you are sleeping on puffed wheat. the kernels need to be broken down a bit. After a month, this pillow is perfect. The best part of these pillows is how cool they remain. They need to make pillow cases to fit, though.

Ever since I first slept on a Sobakawa Pillow (30+ years!) I have chosen to use one and bring mine with me whenever and wherever I sleep. 'Nuff said.

This is my 8th buckwheat pillow that I have purchased. They last forever, but I personally don't like it when they get old. This was my first pillow purchase from this company. The pillow is overstuffed and therefore not maleable but a rock under your head. In addition, I ordered 2 pillow cases which were slid inside the plastic cover of the pillow when the arrived. I was charged $4.00 for shipping the pillow cases over and above the shipping for the pillow. These pillow cases were an ounce at best and not even in their own packing material. I will never do business with this company again.
