I only give him a chance because he's from Pennsylvania, and the Republicans need a Pennsylvania strategy. But he lost there already, and is probably too extreme in his social politics to win in the general.

Pretty much a spent political force. Has some appeal to marginalized elements of the GOP, but is utterly unelectable on a national platform. Wouldn't make it out of the first two primaries, if he even got that far.

Santorum is way too outspoken on moral issues for him to win a national election. Sure there are groups in the Republican party who would love for him to run, but he has very little ability to win with some of the things he has said in the past.

Yesterday's news. As Johnny Rotten once said, "No future for you." Too obsessed with issues about homosexuality, and that Lord of the Rings comparison with The War in Iraq was strange to put it mildly.
