Irene (Seattle)

Why the low rating? Eventhough Stephen is at fault for the slap, she baited him by questioning his sexuality outright in an insulting manner. She's yet to see what part she played in the whole incident. She started off as nice, in a dorky way, but got sick and showed her true colors.

Loved her... her and Rebecca was the only two cool people from that cast.

Whacked-out head case with a whiny, nasal voice that gets irritating after about 2 seconds.

Irene was cool but what was up with her turning into a total whack job? I think she had a few screws loose before she even got there.

Irene was so hilarious. I loved her and wished that things could have been different with her. After she left the show, things got boring in Seattle.

god i loved irene at first. she was so funny and her playing around with nathan was hilarious("i love it when he calls me dumbass"). it was so sad that she had to change so much when she got sick, i don't think her roommates really understood what was happening and that's why they didn't support her the way she would have liked--but how could they have known? so the roommates weren't really to blame... except for stephen. he's the sorriest closet-case i've ever seen. that boy had problems. anyway i think overall irene is cool, she just had some bad times. p.s. when she was so nasty about her roommates in her tape on the reunion show this year, that was NOT new footage, it was taped right after she left the seattle show. she refused to come to the reunion special so mtv decided to screw her and pass that off as recent.

Irene gets two thumbs down from me. I think she has mental problems, and was sick in the HEAD!! I don't think she even wanted to be there in the first place. I'm glad she left early because if David didn't slap her I would have, she was such a hutch! She tried to play it off by laughing, but she knew she was crying in the inside, what a fake crybaby.

Come on, Irene was sick before she got to Seattle. She must have forgotten to pack an extra supply of medication or could not get an out-of-state refill.

i think irene got a bad rap. stephen should have been out on his ass. irene was cool.

Irene came to my university speaking out about "The Real World". She is one of the nicest and most real people I've met. I think the show did a good job smothering her and ruining her rep after she left so suddenly

I think I'm getting sick.

She was self-centered and mean, accepting no responsibility for her actions - even during the reunion show. I did not care for her in the beginning and she did nothing to change my opinion.

The only Seattle shows I saw were after she lost her mind. Maybe that taints my perspective, but she seemed like a headcase.

Whacky to watch her go throug such an extreme transformation when she got sick..I think she is still bitter..I liked her a lot at the beginning, however she got so angry at the end

Nothing like a personality change to make compelling television. Prior to getting sick, Irene was funny and smart. After getting sick, she was belligerant and confrontational. Plus, she was on the receiving end of the most famous bitch-slap in Real World history.

She just didn't do much for me. She was cute and funny but when she got sick, I just didn't care that much.
