This guy makes my skin crawl and he is a one dimension actor.

American men rejoiced everywhere and stuck it to their Hugh-is-so-cute girlfriends on the day this creep was busted with that prostitute. Well, Hugh, there's just something about paying for it, eh?

I like his movies...even if they're usually rather stupid. However, HE seems like a snotty jerk.

I can't believe Hugh thinks about retiring from acting sometimes. That would be truly sad...I like this actor despite some of the bad press he's received about his shenanigans with with a hooker. He's the epitome of the typically slightly self concious reserved Brit, yet he also has a great sense of humour, especially when it comes to himself. He can act thats for sure, but can he sing????

The best thing about this guy is he just always makes me laugh. It doesn't matter if the statement's normal or stupid. Hugh Grant can somehow make it funny. I think this is what women find so sexy about him. Never underestimate the power of a sense of humor in a man. It can get him tremendously far. Yes, he's fantastic in romantic comedies but he also proven that he can be a cad too. I think he's wonderful in all his attempts.

Comes across as rather arrogant. Not very appealing or even funny.

Smarmy and obnoxious. Acts as if he thinks he's God's gift to women. I'm sure a lot of women just eat that crap up, but those are probably the same women who were born on this planet but don't live on it. Thank GOD he wasn't in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. As much as I like the Harry Potter books and movies, I would have had to skip that one I'm afraid.

He's a mediocre actor. He can play just a role: the twit. Yet I admit he's good at playing twits, I'm sorry he couldn't be cast in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", he would have been great as Professor Gilderoy Lockhart. That character is a complete chicked head. Anyway, his best film was "An Awfully Big Adventure", at least he tried to play a different character and he almost succeeded. Hold on, Hugh, you might make it one day!

I think he is a very good actor. For those of you who say he has no range beyond his good guy;you should watch An Awfully Big Adventure and then Sense and Sensibility (or the other way around). He shows he has range,at least enough to play Gilderoy Lockhart in the second Harry Potter film.God please,if he screws that up I won't forgive him!

You've got to admit Hugh Grant fills a certain void in film today. We have so many big, hunky action stars (hey, they even turned Keanu into one for Speed an The Matrix!). Seems in old Hollywood there were more sensitive, soft actors (hard to picture Jimmy Stewart in speeding bus on the L.A. freeway - though I'm sure he could have pulled it off). Grant fits the stereotype of the stuffy British male, a stereotype that I find holds a certain charm. I am not sure why the Devine Brown comment comes up so often in the ratings - I'm sure he's not the first man to frequent prostitutes. I think it's just because Hurley is so beautiful that people are shocked that he would go elsewhere. Who's to say what drives a man to make decisions in his personal life, stupid or not his career should not be judged by them. Grant has an impressive body of work, did anybody see Impromptu - if not, you should.

Hugh Grant is my favourite actor and not only because he's soooo hansom but he's a good actor too,he's the bomb!!Hugh Grant rules!I am a fan of him and I admit I didn't see all his films but about a while I have seen them all haha :-) Bridget Jones's dairy is one of my favourites and I also liked Mickey Blue eyes.

He's a good actor and I don't think you have to look at him like a cheater because of his affair with Devine Brown.Hugh's a human also, just like all of us,and fold are there too make. But,I would do anything for this man! He's sooo hot!Nobody understands it because he's more than 20 years older than I am and not hansom (the other people think) How can anyone say this man is not hansom??He's a goodlooking man for his 40 years.I really really love his accent.I wish I could meet him one day.

Elizabeth Hurley is/was a lucky woman!!!
I am from Holland, the dutch language is my language I grow up with so I'am sorry for the folds in the englisch language!

Lots of love and xx Chantal and a big hug to Hugh and all his fans!

What is it about Hugh that I find so fake? Maybe the fact that he never seems to change no matter what role it is that he is playing? That must be it! He sucks! Yes, that must be the reason! He is capable of looking comfortable in front of the camera and can come of as funny and snide but beyond that he really doesn't do much. The only explanation I can think why he is continually cast is his name value. But, that hasn't really been a great use to the last few films he has worked on. This guy just isn't a passable talent. He has not yet proven himself as an actor. He has proven that he exzists.

I detest Hugh Grant. I think he's a terrible actor, and I don't like what I've heard about his personal life. I have no idea why many women are crazy about him. He's not very attractive, and his acting seems canned and sleazy to me. The only explanation I can come up with is that he's non-threatening (in a girly sort of way- yuck!). I avoid films in which he's the star, although I did put up with him in order to see "Bridget Jones's Diary." I have a feeling he'll be hard to avoid for a long time.
