One of my favorite movies of all time is Hudson Hawk... he's had a couple of fun movies.. loved the Sixth Sense, Armageddon, and Die Hard franchise. I've enjoyed them all.. oh, and Fifth Element. Okay, okay. I'm a fan. I'd sooner go to a movie with him blowing things up in it than a sappy romantic drama... I upped my rating just now.. I dn't think there's been a Willis movie I didn't like.

Loved him in Moonlighting. What a great show that was! I haven't seen a lot of his movies, but he's a decent actor.
Spike65 06/20/2008
I was going to give him four stars but there are so many stupidly negative reviews I'll have to give him five stars now. Bruce Willis has improved as an actor over the years and he has been in some good movies. For a man with such modest talent he has done very well for himself. Keep improving Bruce.

After a while all I'm doing is punching wet chips of bone into the floorboards. So I stop.
Jeremy00081 09/12/2006
He's more than just a die-hard-with-a-vengeance maniac, and "The Sixth Sense" proved that. I enjoyed most of his movies. His peronality in general, though...he seems like the type of guy who would tell an 8 year old to go **** themself. That's just my opinion, but I'm sticking to it. He gets 3 stars for entertaining me yet making me wonder how much of a prick he might be in real life.
goldilocks 10/11/2005
I just don't like him. Maybe its his looks that I don't like, or maybe I just can't put my finger on it. I avoid watching anything he's in.
pwright1 05/29/2005
I think he's an ok actor. Some good rolls and some forgettable. Nothing outstanding.
kattwoman 05/19/2005
the movies i liked him in was the 1st die hard movie, blind date and pulp fiction. hes got a mischievous smile and he seemed like he was going to have more winners then he does
texasyankee 03/31/2005

Think for a second - Moonlighting, The Sixth Sense,Pulp Fiction, Armageddeon, Hart's War, Tears of the Sun, and of course Die Hard. Bruce Willis is a damned good actor who can go the whole range of acting. Has done a lot of so-so movies - Whole Nine yards, Fifth Element, Twelve Monkeys and could stand to do more drama and less action, but he's proven he can deliver.
Maomania 03/01/2005
This is a tough one. Bruce Willis is not that great of an actor. He is very good looking and he is fun to watch. But he plays the same kind of person over and over again and it appears that he has a hard time to show real emmotions sometimes. But he was in so many good movies that he deserves at least 4 stars. We all watched Die Hard, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense etc.
dpostoskie 02/04/2005
Die Hard....that's all.
MariusQelDroma 12/11/2004
I get a kick out of most every movie he's done. Looking forward to his next project.

This man couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag.Brainless and one dimensional.
rasta girlly 10/28/2004

Meka Turtle 08/25/2004
Overatted bum. ''Man'' Tyson would cream him with in ten second
hevensgurl 07/23/2004
I had a crush on Bruce since I was really young...I loved him in Moonlighting and when he potrays that witty, cutting sarcastic type guy he is at his best. I do not think he is given enough credit and has been suprisingly good in more dramatic roles as well..He is also one of the few actors in Hollywood that does not follow that usual sickening over the top liberal/I hate Bush/I practice Kabballah (pick one) trend...seems like a good dad too!
roslyn217 05/17/2004
Way, way overrated.
tvtator 04/23/2004
This is an actor who's acting and roles have gotten better. He was fantastic and the one to watch on Moonlighting. He proved without a doubt he could do drama with The Sixth Sense.

Bruce Willy is one of the most annoying people alive! I can't be bothered to say anymore, I don't want to waste my breath!
personwithcomm ent 04/16/2004
That guy is awesome! I get tired of action movies that take themselves too seriously, but he knows it's a joke and makes me laugh. Ever seen Death Comes to Her? He plays a completely different character.
Guava Monkey 03/04/2004
I reckon he's one of the more underrated of the big Hollywood names and in fact has been in more winners than turkeys. 'Sixth Sense', 'Unbreakable' '5th Element', 'Die Hard' series, 'Pulp Fiction' ,the first 'Look who's talking' are some of the most watchable mainstream movies Ive seen and Im not even much of a film fan.
Redoedo 12/19/2003
While I certainly would not consider Bruce Willis a top notch actor, one cannot deny that he has enormous loads of talent. Aside from being incredibly versatile, he has amazing amounts of charisma and charm that he carries with him on screen. His resume is quite impressive, consisting of action, thriller and comedy films. Die Hard is probably one of the classic shoot em' up movies of the last 20 years. Willis has played the hero in quite a few films (Armageddon and the Die Hard sequels). The end of Armageddon was very moving, thanks in no small part to Willis' depth as an actor. Willis has proven, however, that he can play unheroic roles as well (the ruthless assassin in The Jackal and the corrup General in the Siege). Willis has also successfully tried his hand at comedy, twice doing the voice for the young toddler Mikey in Look Who's Talking and it's sequel. He was also surprisingly amusing in Death Becomes Her, The Whole Nine Yards, along with a moving performance in The Kid. Willis turned in a surprisingly exemplary performance with The Sixth Sense as Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a troubled man who attempts to reach a young boy who is haunted by supernatural beings. In the final analysis, although Bruce Willis' forte is definitely action roles, he has proven that he can hold his own in comedy and drama as well. He certainly is not one of the greatest actors of our time, but he is definitely an above average actor with loads of charisma and charm.

love this guy..by far by favourite actor. im sure nobody cudve played john mcclane better than him in the die hard trilogy.it ll be really cool if they make one more sequel..ive seen many of his movies and i must admit i have liked virtually all of them...armageddon for me is his best...my favourite movie(the only movie ive cried in..heyy that was ages bak)..hes had some great performances..he acted damn well as a bad guy in the jackal too..cool as ever..one of the best actors of his time...and to end i just wanna say...yippi kai yay motherf*cker
StanUzbeck 08/31/2003
This man's only talent, and I mean his ONLY talent, is looking real cool while he's smoking. He smokes real tough, but so does Chow Yun Fat who can actually act. I suppose Bruce Willis is kind of charismatic, but he should never ever try to be funny, or witty, or able to deliver lines. A good role for him would be a guy who stands around and smokes. That would be so badass.
iluvamerica 08/03/2003
I like most of his movies. But he always has to play this tough guy. I'm sick of actors portraying the same character in every movie they do. Even in Armageddon he had to be a bully and a tough guy. I did enjoy Bandits however. Great film.
ironlaw 07/05/2003
He's underrated in Hollywood.

Moosekarloff 06/03/2003
Brainless no-talent who appeals to a brainless audience. He sucked way back when in "Moonlighting," and it was a major insult to popular culture and public taste to allow this twerp to go on. It's laughable that someone who appears to be so out of shape physically, so physically unimposing is made into a Hollywood action hero. Total suspension of disbelief. Hell, there's dozens of current actresses out there who could kick this wimp's ass. I've seen a few of his shoot-em-ups and they were the most juvenile, cartoonish crap ever committed to film. "In Country" was supposed to be his break-through dramatic role, but his performance was truly weak. He was so unconvincing in "Pulp Fiction" that I thought the casting director had to be on crack when the decision was made to give Willis the role. People think this guy is a versatile actor and I agree: he's lame in every type of role he chooses. Boy, the taste and discernment of the American viewing public has really gone down the toilet for sure if a talentless hack like this can get roles in movies people actually pay money to see. Amazing.

Bruce Willy really gets on my nerves, he has been in too many films and is getting way too old to act. How old did he look in Armageddon and talk about over acting, he just acts because he is a dirty old man who wants to get in bed with young actresses and then say its part of his job.
TheBlueWyvern 05/26/2003
Who would have ever thought that the action hero would turn out to be such a wonderfully versatile actor? He's the best!
kann 05/24/2003
He may be an okay actor, but his arrogant onscreen personality turns me off.
praisy 05/09/2003
I love Die Hard! He's a great actor!
crazymangoinwi ld 05/04/2003
Bruce has proven he can & has done it all. Isn't it time for an Oscar for Bruce?
Saltydog 05/01/2003
He is an excellent actor. He keeps me riveted in all of his dramas, e.g. "Die Hard" series, "The Sixth Sense," "Pulp Fiction," and "Unbreakable." Bruce is awesome.
maggiemay 04/30/2003
No matter what anyone says, Bruce can sing just fine. Saw him on tour in St.Louis last year? he was great. Funny, talented, versatile actor.
jms5 04/12/2003

GREAT ACTOR AND A GREAT DAD. VERY HOT
RabidBandit 03/13/2003
perfectly acceptable as an actor. does a fine job. shows his stupidity when opening his mouth and making political statements, would have been funny as hell if dubya had said " sure, bruce, saddle up and go get saddam!"
Aurielle 03/02/2003
I love Bruce Willis! I happen to be one of the only females I know who adores action/war movies, and Bruce is perfect for these. He's a very dynamic actor, very flexible in roles and also very believable. After 9/11, he said that he was no longer interested in acting in violent films, but I can't see him in anything else. Besides, "Tears of the Sun" is coming out this week, and that seems pretty violent to me. . .
WildCoyote 01/12/2003
Just perfect! "The sixth sense", "Armageddon" amongst others, specially "Unbreakable" what to say? WATCH THEM as many times you want...I never get enough: perfect story, perfect acting!!!
princessangry 12/03/2002
I thkin he has one of the best personalities for an actor. I really adore his cute and nice side in "the kid" and it is sooooo cute!!! He can be sooo nice and have the cutest smile and he seems liek teh guy I'd love to have with me all my life!! I wanna marry him!!! ;) But!! you would not wanna forget about his tough side like in the movie "Armageddon"!!! He was rough and tough and he also has an edge like most actors.. I've seen him recently be tough in a movie but I can't quite recall what it was but man he was tough!! I also loved him in the fifth element!!! now that's one movie we all should love!! It's on a par with "The Matrix" and "Moulin Rouge" on my list!!! He was sooo awesome it could not possibly fit on this reivew and into my time frame!!! I love his all around great personality. He's funny, Nice,Awesome,Tough, and oh sooo cute!!! He's MY MAN!!! :)
spudmandudej 12/03/2002
Bruce Willis could be one of the greatest. Look at all the movies he's been in... Sixth Sense, as a dramatic actor, Pulp Fiction as Dramatic/Action, Die Hard 1-3 as Action, and the list goes on. He is a good wisecracker, as shown in The Whole Nine Yards, and just plain kicks some.
Robert Epson 12/03/2002
I find that Bruce is an exceptional war hero, but definately has his shortcomings when it comes to more dramatic roles. While his debut in Pulp Fiction was phenominal, there's something to be said for "Conservative Conscience"
