an almost four. he has been in some bad movies that seem to give him unfair vibes on his acting ability. not great but can be a good enough actor. liked his writing in Good Will Hunting. and he directed a good movie called Gone Baby gone.

I'm liking him more as time goes on...he is starting to prove that he can make it without being attached to Matt Damon. Goodwill Hunting was a really good collaboration for them and its cool that they one for screenplay...they were both pretty young to be winning Oscars for writing! 

Handsome guy, I think he has potential, but has not always lived up to it in his movie choices.  He was really good in Changing Lanes, probably his best movie, and  his others have not been really bad performances, ie Pearl Harbor, Sum of all Fears, Armaggedon, he just seems to fall a bit short of being good.  His movies are mostly entertaining.

honestly, i liked him in the begining, now his head is so huge it is impossible to see him. he is not all that and lost his raw edge. he sucks matt damons.....well you know.

affleck is another guy who gets railed on by the critics. he is the white will smith, meaning, his acting skills are marginal, but he is always in movies that usually do well at the box office. Some of the better movies he has been prominent in, i would say, is Sum of All Fears, Boiler Room, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor. Nothing really offensive about him. loved his role in Boiler Room.

Ben Affleck's career is going downhill. He used to be a good actor. (There are actually a few movies out there where I enjoyed his acting) but the last 2 years were just terrible. And his relationship with Jennifer Lopez was the biggest joke. I find it hard to take this man serious.

Stop saying yes to every role that comes your way. Call your buddy Matt and talk shop, you'll learn a few things.

He stars as himself in every movie, so it seems. Armageddon co-starring his Brand New Teeth would be watchable if the audience wasn't being blinded by his pearly white caps at every turn.

On interviews on tv and magazines he comes across as a pretty decent self effacing guy. As an actor, he picks the absolute worst movies to star in. It's tough to be the star of the movie when you have zero personality on screen. He would have been better off going the Vince Vaugh route and taking interesting roles

Trying to recapture some of his past success in Good Will Hunting, Ben will star in the new film Bad Job Acting, in which he will try to be Matt Damon.

Makes me have to puke. I'm sick of seeing him. He's a phoney, can't act that well and should stay out of politics. He picks the wrong candidates. And, thank goodness the thing with J-Lo is overwith. Classic case of overkill there. I didn't give a hoot whether they were together or not and I was tired of having crammed into my face on a daily basis. I prefer the AFLAC duck to this dud.

I don't agree with his politics, I don't really like his acting and I don't really find much of him worthy paying attention to. However, when he went on the O'Reilly Factor, I was expecting to see a bomb throwing, radical left winger who didn't know a thing about politics. He actually expressed himself pretty well and didn't bash Bush as much as his counterparts have in Hollywood.

Being a woman, I can't see what all the fuss is about Ben. He is average looking, average actor, and he seems dumb, dumb, dumb ! He does nothing for me.

People are only just beginning to realise what a rubbish actor and self absorbed person he is. With the spate of poor movies he has been in and the number of cringeworthy quotes he's dished out to the press, you wonder what has taken them so long.

Like the DUCk with a similar name much better than him. Whatttt is he anyway? Looks grubby most of the time, when he clearly should be barkin up the corporate look tree (for his best side). Leaves no impression. Not one of our hunks I'm afraid. So, like I'm not sure where that leaves him.....

As an actor I guess you could say he's dependable. He's not going to ruin a movie, but he lacks the depth and emotional range to make one better than it otherwise would be. On a different note; anybody who refers to George Steinbrenner as the center of evil in the universe can't be all bad!
