Fri Dec 11 2009I remember seeing a few episodes of Xena way back, and the ridiculousness of the show was made almost, but not quite, bearable by Lucy's bod- er, acting skills. And that says a lot for her... acting. Also, I don't know what to make of this but when I landed on the Lucy Lawless page one of the ads underneath the summary was a "Lesbian Romance" CD. Maybe I'm missing something.

Mon Nov 18 2002Athletic, physical actress who has shown some surprising depth of ability - Lucy's work on Xena showcases a talent both for physical drama and comedy. Like Peta Wilson, she will be one of those stuck as a "tv actress", and probably never get to evolve beyond her Xena roles because she is exactly the type of female actor to get type-cast. I would love to see her in a soft, romantic lead moovie role.

Fri May 04 2001Not only is this Amazon a beautiful woman with amazing talent, but she is also a classically trained opera singer. I am a big fan of Xena (I admit it) and truly believe her to be a great role model for our daughters (She sure is a much better one than Britney Spears or Ginger Spice). I can't wait to see what Lucy does once Xena is taken off the air (The series finale is this season). I'm a big fan of the show but let's hope that her next role ISN'T Xena on the big screen!
