 | Krinda (11) 08/31/2006 | I LOVE her J.P. Beaumont series, which is how I first discovered her, and when I thought J.A. Jance was a MALE author -- she covered the Beaumont character SO well, foibles and all.

 | Marco Polo (0) 01/14/2006 | I'm not really familiar with the JP Beaumont series other than the one where she brought him into Joanna Brady's town but I am a big fan of the Joanna Brady series. I love the dogs and the kids and the husband. They ground the storyline. If you gave me 100 books all by authors I know and read and a J.A.Jance was among them, guess which one I would read first?

 | sunstorm1001 (1) 01/08/2006 | I really like her books too, JP Beaumont is also my favorite, maybe because he is a 'local' PI fictional character (being from the Seattle area myself). I find the characters interesting but not overwhelming, ie this is a perfect type beach book as you can read it in bits and pieces from day to day and not forget what is going on and who is who. Nice believable plots for the most part, and just an enjoyable read.

 | Sara2704ov (0) 12/10/1999 | I follow J.P. Beaumont and Joanna Brady, although Beau is my favorite. J.A. Jance is a talented writer who can entertain convincingly with gory, grisly details while maintaining a warm heart in her characters.
