Steve Martin

There is something about steve martin that makes you laugh as soon as you see him in a film. My personal favorite is Srgt. Bilko. and bringing down the house he is hysterical!!

I absolutely love this guy, in my opinion he is a comedy genius.
His funniest film for me has got to be, "The man with two brains", hilarious!

Let's go back to the days of The Jerk. 'Nuff said.

He has been in a lot of movies. I don't owm any of them on video. Just middle of the road most of the time. Might gain another star in a category of comedic actors.

Martin is a great actor, and I don't know why he's rated so low. He's proved he can act as well as be funny.

He can be very good,but seems to often choose poorly written movies.He was responsible for the funniest scene in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels-where he pretends to be his partners mentally deficient brother.In fact,without this scene and his hilarious performance in it,the movie is totally ho-hum.

If nothing else, pure fun.

I was born a poor black child. As far as comedians go, he's one of the best. He's made some bombs recently though. He'll bounce back though.

He's one of the best comedians out there- and there's no doubt that comedy is his forte. If he sticks to that, Martin will continue to have a successful career. As President X-D said, he is good in serious roles, but his specialty is most definately comedy. This "Wild and Crazy guy" is one of the funniest men on the planet. "The Jerk", "Roxanne", "Father of the Bride" and "Bowfinger" were all great performances from this talented actor/comedian. However, his best performance was most definately in "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles". He and John Candy had so much chemistry in that film, and I've never laughed so hard in my life. He was also great at the Oscars a few months ago.

This guy needs 10 stars for the funniest person on this planet. He always me laugh especially on the Oscars. FUNNY FUNNY GUY!

Taken as a whole, Steve Martin's career has been pretty good. I wish he would stick with comedy rather than the more "serious" roles he takes these days. Mr. Martin proved long ago that he can act a serious role, but he is far superior doing comedy.

Steve does fabulous, wonderful movies and always makes us laugh so hard. He is such a talented actor and comedian.

I think that Steve is one of the most hilarious actor/ comedians in the buisness. He is an inspiring role model and I know i certainly look up to him with the utmost respect. Did i mention he is the fuuniest? His omlette du fromage thing killed me!

Martin's only decent movie was "The Jerk". Every film he's done since then can be ranked in one of two categories: stupid & unfunny or self-indulgent, bloated crap.

I don't think anybody could dislike Steve Martin! He's so funny! Me and my Grandmother love his movies. I laugh every time.

I can happily say that this man has made me laugh in almost every movie he's made. And I've almost seen them all. To me that is talent. It also doesn't hurt that he's extremely sexy! (wink, wink)

For a man that's been around longer than most you wouldn't know it to look at him. He's certainly aged well and why wouldn't he with that much mischeif in him. I would love to see him in more serious roles as I think that he does really well and could be as well recieved as Robin Williams. I would love to go shopping with him, I think that would be a blast and he would bring out the mischief in anyone I'm sure. As an actor and as a man I think that he sits high on the excellence shelf. Just love him and wish him all the greatest in life.
