03/25/2003 | Lumley's vampire mythos is unmatched, not even by Anne Rice. The first 5 Necroscope novels and the Blood Brothers trilogy are spectacular and secure Lumley's place in the hall of legends. His other, non-vampire work is sub-par for some reason.
